I'm using Jellyfin for my media and I'm able to connect it locally without Tailscale but I needed it in order to access my server outside of my Wifi, and it works but the connection is terrible. Most results lead back to having a relay connection but I'm not exactly sure how to check it because when I look it up the answers are assuming you already have some type of background info and you're using something called Docker? But I'm not using a NAS I'm using my PC (my CPU is a Ryzen 5 5500 and my GPU is a RTX 3060 Ti if that matters).

I'm not sure if the bad speeds are because my connection is POSSIBLY a relayed one and not a direct one but I'm just trying to verify that to see if that's the issue and if not, I can move on to the next step or solution or whatever.

Also I'm not able to change my router settings directly as it's my Mom's internet.

I’m getting annoyed. So I installed Jellyfin, and an add-on to access my content on Kodi.

Anyways I tried adding Dragon Ball Recut to Jellyfin and no matter what I did I couldn’t get it to sync up with the “Recut” episode group metadata on TMDB; it would only sync up with its regular info.

It seems like everything was pointing towards doing everything manually so I did that. Everything works on Jellyfin browser but I wanted to use Kodi as that has controller support (and I also wanted to try & import this locally anyway) but the episode names were wrong but everything else (description & photo) carried over from Jellyfin. I looked up how to export NFO files but right after refreshing the metadata it basically wiped out TWO HOURS of my time and set everything back to normal. I deadass shut off my PC after that.

Anyways, I gotta try this ALL over again but how do I actually export this NFO file when I’m done? I tried MediaElch & TinyMediaManager but it’s not as intuitive I can’t even get the episodes to be recognized to even edit the info. Idk trying to do this shit is way more annoying than I thought. Holy hell man.

So I just installed Plex & Jellyfin hoping to just kinda add my shows and be done with it, but trying to get the proper metadata is messing with my OCD lol and now I’m burnt out for a bit.

Anyways, these are my directories:

I have a folder named “Dragon Ball Recut” in said folder & all of my episodes show up just fine and nothing’s stopping me from binging everything start to finish. I just want the correct info to display, as it also shows the episode order of the ORIGINAL version of DB (e.g. . When I go to “Match” and search up DBR it shows everything except Dragon Ball Recut. I’m trying to basically get the episode info to match what’s on here https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/12609-dragon-ball/episode\_group/60d345ee67b613007ddd9d0a?language=en-US but the issue is I can’t seem to get it to work no matter what. I even renamed my folder to the tmdb’s ID but it just gets the regular episode order. I go into Advanced Settings to see if I can change anything but the only thing from TheMovieDB is the (Aired) section, whereas the episode order from the link is (Absolute). There is a setting to change it to Absolute but that’s for TVDB & doesn’t fix the issue.

This is getting really annoying.

So what I'm basically referring to is something like Steam Input, Joy2Key, Xbox360CE, etc.

So the reason why I'm asking this is because I use a frontend called Launchbox to launch all of my games & roms. Pretty much I would like to add a category to my frontend specifically for SOME flash games that I could potentially use with a controller (Armed of Wings, Fancy Pants, Newgrounds Rumble, Learn to Fly 1/2, Dolphin Olympics, Wink's Adventure, etc). What I would like to do is essentially launch a flash game & have whatever remapping software be automatically applied, rather than having to open up said software before or after opening up desired game. Basically, Launchbox/Bigbox is what I like to use as a way to organize and switch between all of my games seamlessly whenever I am in the mood for gaming.

This wouldn't really apply outside of these types of gaming sessions, as when I'm using my PC at my desk instead of my TV it's obviously way easier to just use my KB/M setup, thanks!

Oh, also I am on Launchbox version 13.16; not that it matters but for me this is the last version that works with zero issues, but I'm pretty sure newer versions will do just fine for any solution provided. Just wanted to throw that out there.

So I wanna use Pretendo but I can’t make a new account since idk my PIN, and when I tried opening the app it gave me that error. So I shut it off and tried it again & this time I WAS able to actually be in the menu & try to reset my PIN (I was trying to use a Master Key Generator) when it eventually gave me the error. I’ve uninstalled CBHC before this error even came up & have Aroma installed. Only other thing I tested was Wind Waker HD (before uninstalling CBHC & only up to main menu; just wanted to see if the game worked) and RetroArch (after uninstalling CBHC & installing Aroma) and I didn’t have any issues BUT apparently it says once that error starts to show up it’s only a matter of time before it ends up bricking the system completely.

Personally, I can go without Pretendo tbh although the constant prompts to sign in are annoying but I really don’t feel comfortable using a ticking timebomb & I’m not too good with soldering (maybe I can find aomeone to help but idk where to order the MLC2SD). If I am able to do that method is there a storage limit? Or is 64GB the max? Would u be able to install games directly on the SD since that’s the new “internal” storage?

So I was afraid this might happen. I only have an aftermarket PSU, not an official one but I think my neighbor may have one.

Anyways, I tried turning my system on & the disc drive boots up and the power led changes to blue, but no video, neither with AV or HDMI cables. I don’t have to force it to power down however; just need to press it once & it shuts off a few seconds later as if it was just a normal shutdown. I did try the force shutdown method anyway as someone suggested it but it didn’t work. I have a gamepad BUT it’s not paired with this one (this one is from my neighbor) so I’m not able to sync this up since I can’t get any display from the Wii U.

The last time I *remember* using it was early 2022, but if not then definitely late 2021, so at the very least it has been 4 years since this was even plugged into an outlet let alone powered on. I believe I had CBHC installed so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it (probably not since I heard ppl with stock systems have had this issue but idk thought it was worth mentioning).

Is my shit fried?

EDIT: not sure if it’s worth mentioning, but I think I got this Wii U when it first released (I do remember asking my dad to preorder this wayyyy back in the day before it came out & I vaguely remember using it holiday 2012 but I don’t remember if it was the day 1-2 launch models or if I got it the month after it came out).

EDIT 2: Problem solved! It turns out I simply had a faulty HDMI cable. I have a gamepad not connected to the console & by using this tool I was able to get it sync but despite my Wii U now being confirmed to work just fine it wasn’t displaying a picture, but after swapping my HDMI cable with another one that I was currently using I can now deem this unit working! Sorry for the false alarm.

Got this mic from a friend and honestly the feedback or static or whatever it's called is pretty annoying, I'm not sure how else to explain so here's a video of what I'm talking about. I tried Googling the issue and I didn't get the NGENUITY software but I ended up installing it to turn off the RGB while recording (since some people said that helped) but it didn't work. I uninstalled NGENUITY and the issue still persists. I really wouldn't wanna get a whole new mic but is there anything else I can do? I've also tried plugging it in a USB 3.0 port on my motherboard and case to see if it'd get more power but no dice. I am genuinely out of ideas.
