I’m trying to find a low sodium lunch meat like turkey or chicken for my baby, but can’t find any that has a reasonable sodium amount. Has anyone found any good options? Thank you!
We’re visiting Rome this summer and need to find a cab that has a car seat for our 1 year old to take us from the airport to our hotel in the city center and back. How do we do that? Any advice would be appreciated.
My MIL watches over my baby at our house while I work during the day. I’m really appreciative as it saves us a ton of money on childcare. However, I really struggle with some of her “hygiene” habits in my house and around my baby.
Multiple times I saw her not washing hands after going to the bathroom, after doing the dishes or after touching the dog, and then touching my baby. She sometimes uses hand sanitizer but I swear she never washes her hands with soap. She would use my hand towel to wipe the counter. She would put shoes on the kitchen counter (to prevent the dog from getting into them). I saw her once taking my baby into the bathroom with her because she didn’t want to leave him alone. And there’s more… all these things are absolutely driving me crazy. I am a clean freak and try to keep my house as clean as possible for my baby’s health, and I really value cleanliness and hygiene in my house. These are things I can’t talk to her about because I’m sure it will hurt her feelings. I did comment (mostly jokingly so it’s not too serious) about certain things, but they keep happening.
I don’t think she’s being malicious, I think her standards are just genuinely different than mine, but honestly it’s just driving me nuts. I feel the need to clean all counters, redo the dishes she washes, change my towels, etc. every day after she leaves.
I don’t know what kind of advice I’m looking for. I guess I just wanted to vent (I can’t talk to my husband about this, it would hurt his feelings) and maybe get some validation that these are legit things and that I’m not a crazy germaphobe (well, maybe just a little).
Thank you if you read this far.

Recently had a 5 hour car drive with my 10MO. It was time for his nap and I was hoping he could fall asleep in the car seat, but he just wouldn’t. I tried covering the window, used a blackout cover for the car seat, a sound machine, gave him a bottle, really everything, but nothing helped. At some point he was awake for about 5.5 hours (while his usually wake window for that time is about 3 hours). He was so tired that we just ended up stopping for an hour and doing a carrier nap (he fell asleep almost immediately once in the carrier).
This experience made me dread car rides during nap time now. Is anyone in a similar boat? What can I do to get him to nap in the car?
Thank you.
Recently finished training with an international airline. They’re asking me to provide a hearing test, but I’ve been having hearing decline the last few years and recently started using a hearing aid.
Will they let me go if my hearing test shows my hearing loss?
I guess I’m trying to understand if they want you to have good hearing for fulfilling your job (in which case I believe a hearing aid closes this gap and fixes the issue) or for liability issues (hearing decline risk for flying a lot etc).
Would appreciate any insight. It’s my dream job and at this point I’m even considering getting a fake hearing test result.
Please no judgement. Just advice.
My neighbor wants to add a dormer looking over my driveway and the HOA has approved it. Do I have any way to appeal it? I bought this lot and built my a house in a way it won’t be visible from neighbor’s windows, for privacy…
Thanks

I completed my profile about 2 weeks ago but still haven’t gotten any offers. How long did it take you to start getting products? Did you leave reviews to increase your chances? I’m new to this so any tip would help.
Thanks!
I know technically you’re not supposed to feed baby purées when doing BLW. But is it really that bad to do it? I feel like 8MO sometimes gets frustrated with working for his food, and he’s much more likely to eat when fed purées. When I serve breakfast and he doesn’t want to eat anything, I don’t want to just skip it altogether, so so offer some puree pouch. Is it so bad?
I guess I just want to see how many people have actually done it and felt like their BLW journey wasn’t ruined by it.
Thanks,
Nervous mom who feels like she’s messing up but doesn’t know how to be better.
I want to expose my baby to as many foods as possible, but realistically, it’s hard to keep coming up with new ideas, and to be frank our family menu is pretty repetitive. Do you actually give your babies different foods every day? Or do you mostly rotate and just offer a new variation every now and then?
Thank you!
My baby seems to be struggling with toast. It seems like no matter how I toast it (a little or a lot), it gums up in his mouth. Please share how you’re toasting and serving it! Is the more toasted the better or the opposite?? Thank you!
