I read that this was pretty rare. A friend told me it's because it's made of silver and maybe the Germans melted them all down when they invaded Poland. Is there any truth to that?
Made this sun for a friend. It started out as a half inch copper tubing piece. I figured out the rest as i went. Adding more layers of the tubing, flat stock and quarter inch tubing . It was quite the project. I did a lot of sitting back and staring at it figuring out what to do next. It ended up weighing about 30 lbs.
I used a small piece of a3"round copper downspout, some tubing and scrap flat stock for the feathers. My metal snips put in some over time on this one.
I had three, brother rats(Larry, moe and curly) when i was a teen in the 80s. When i found out my little sister got some, i had to make them a statue.
This is my first time making an animal out of copper. I made it for my little sister who has rats as pets. Any suggestions for rounding or the edges a little more?
I made this 6 and a half foot sunflower for the yard. I used copper sheet and pipe. I welcome any constructive criticism or thoughts

Saw this bus bench almost 20 years ago. It's been hanging on my wall ever since.
