Quick update to my previous post. I was struggling with dry lasagna and took to this sub for advice. Well here is my update.

Buddy, is my lasagna sodden. I switched my noodles from oven ready to regular, and par boiled them. I went from just ricotta to ricotta and bechamel. I made more sauce, and added more water to it.

It seemed really... soupy at first. But it all worked out. It was gloriously wet. Thanks for the help everyone.

I'm really thinking about this as a possible career path but I have a prior misdemeanor from last year. It was a theft under $500 charge, no probation, no jail time. Fines paid.

Tbh I can't even get a job at Home Depot with my record, I kind of doubt I could get into this career.

I love cooking, trying new foods, techniques, and higher quality ingredients. So I'm looking into where I can affordably buy bulk good quality meat. I saw a suggestion on reddit for a large name restaurant supplier of beef that offers bulk orders to be delivered to residential addresses, unlike most corporate suppliers.

After searching the website, I scrolled for probably 20 seconds before it felt so, icky. I've never been vegan or vegetarian, or particularly considered it even, but in that moment I genuinely saw the machine with the corporate website that looked like a fucking car insurance website, selling hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of flesh from animals that were probably treated like garbage for their entire waking life.

I felt evil. I have made a huge effort in 2026 to greatly reduce my meat consumption, and I've been successful. But I think when it's financially possible for me, I will be exclusively purchasing meat from local farms in my area.

It weighs on my soul so heavily that I've been complicit my whole life in the cruelty of the meat industry.

I've had my eye on the different masala's available on burlap and barrel and don't know which one to get. I live in a very rural area with no access to Indian food so I've never had it and would love to make something somewhat traditionally and not whitewashed.

They have a Chaat masala, goan masala, kashmiri masala, and vindaloo masala. Which should I try first and how should I use them?

Does anyone remember when Mark got a giant bag of some sort of sweetener, that when mixed with a little bit of sugar tastes totally normal and he was obsessed with it? It was in the Glauber Salt days.

Ever since puberty, I've gotten massive painful cystic acne basically, on my inner thighs, as did my mother. Now that I'm older, I get them less often, but now I'm getting smaller versions in the greases underneath my cheeks.

My thighs are so scarred from years of this, and I'm scared of this area becoming scarred too. I don't know what to do
