GPU usage and FPS slowly drop over time after Windows update (RTX 3060 + i5-12600K)

Hey guys, I’ve had a strange problem for a while now. When I start a game everything is fine, good FPS and normal GPU usage, but after some time my GPU usage slowly drops and my FPS gets worse and worse. My PC has an i5-12600K, RTX 3060 and 32GB 3200MHz RAM, and I’m on Windows 10.

I already tried using DDU and reinstalling different NVIDIA drivers but it didn’t change anything. I also checked temps and nothing is overheating.

What’s weird is that if I reinstall Windows using the Media Creation Tool, the problem disappears completely and everything runs perfectly again. But as soon as Windows updates start installing, the issue comes back. I don’t know which update is causing it though.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could cause this?

Hi everyone,

I just bought a MacBook M2 from a seller on Vinted. The device is currently locked with a login password I don't have, but the seller claims she has already removed the Mac from her iCloud account/Find My.

Since it's an Apple Silicon model, I want to be 100% sure the Activation Lock is actually gone before I confirm the order and try to factory reset it.

How can I definitively check if it's still linked to her Apple ID while stuck at the login screen?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently on Evilnat NoBD on my PS3. I recently reconnected the Blu-ray drive ribbon cable, and I want to check if the drive is working again properly.

My idea is to install Evilnat Standard on a different hard drive first, just to test if everything goes well. If the installation works and the console detects the Blu-ray drive correctly, I’ll know the issue is fixed. If it fails, I’ll just switch back to my current hard drive with Evilnat NoBD.

I also wanted to ask: can I reinstall the same version of Evilnat Standard that I already have on my current HDD, or should I use a different version?

And finally, I assume I can safely swap back to my original hard drive afterward without issues, right?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi everyone,

I have a 60GB Backward Compatible PS3 currently running Evilnat NoBD.

The console previously had a disconnected/faulty drive, which is why I was using the NoBD firmware. I have just reconnected the ribbon cables for the Blu-ray drive, and I want to update to the standard Evilnat 4.92 (BD version) to get disc functionality back.

However, I’m a bit paranoid about the update hanging at 99% if the drive isn't being detected properly by the motherboard.

My question: Is there a way to verify that the system "sees" the Blu-ray drive while I am still on the NoBD firmware?

  • Does the drive show up in multiMAN or IrisMan even on NoBD firmware?
  • Should the blue light/eject mechanism react even if the logic board isn't fully "synced" yet?
  • Are there any specific tools in the Custom Firmware Tools menu that can ping the drive status?
