The Lord High Executioner Is The biggest hater

The Lord High Executioner Is The biggest hater

Im currently rewatching the 90s Goosebumps TV series because it is a classic, Im going through all the episodes. A Night in Terror Tower is still one of my favorites since I was a kid and has aged very well. It amazes me though how dedicated and persistent this guy is to chasing, hunting and wanting to kill both Eddie and Sue back in their timeline. Dude literally jumps through time to just go after them.

And the ending where everyone is back in the present time with The Lord High Executioner having secretly followed them by grabbing one of the stones is still one of my favorite endings, leaving me wanting more. He's like - "Im still here."

Rewatching this season on TV

For those who might be interested and live in New Zealand like me, last year season is on TV again. I'm rewatching not just because this was the season that hooked me in but just to see crazy Jacqui again and her facial expressions.

Rewatching this show for the first time

Hi everyone, I recently bought the complete series of this amazing series and having a blast rewatching it after so many years of not doing so. The first time I watched Are You Being Served? Was in the 2000s as a kid. My nana when she was alive introduced me to this show along with Mr. Bean, Last of The Summer Wine, Fawlty Towers and other British classics.

Now of course as a kid, I obviously didnt understand adult jokes but for the most part I did find the series funny whether its Mr. Rumbold being an idiot or Mr. Grainger dozing on and off when not being difficult or being a little senile, then there's Young Mr. Grace. Oh boy. I remember every Saturday, I would visit my nana's home and we would watch the weekly repeats of this show that went from 10am - 12:30pm. She had cable before me and my mum did.

Fast Forward to 2026 at 31 years old and revisiting this series for the first time. Im still loving it and understanding all the jokes now, and watching some earlier episodes I never got to see as kid, while also having memories of episodes that I do remember seeing. I love all the characters but Mr. Grainger is still my top favorite, and now currently on series 5 knowing its his last series unfortunately.

I love everytime Mr. Rumbold says something foolish near Captain Peacock and Captain Peacock just as this "Idiot" expression about him, I also enjoyed seeing Mr. Mash in the first three series, he was hilarious. Mr. Harman though I remembered seeing as a kid.

Why didn't Travis mention Palentine to Betsy?

I apologize if this question and discussion was already brought up in the past, I've only just discovered this subreddit. I always found it odd how Travis never brought up his encounter with Palentine to Betsy before their disastrous date at the adult theater.

This was when Travis drove Palentine and his associate, Travis pretending to be a supporter of Palentine telling every customer he has must vote Palentine before rambling about his frustrations with New York.

You would think Travis would bring it up to Betsy to impress her more given she's a legitimate supporter.

"...Will I travel from town to town solving crimes like Knightrider..."

You know, I think a spin off centered around Craig Feldspar going from town to town solving crime or more like bumbling his way into solving them would have been a fun series. Craig is already a fun character and I think he could carry the show. Him getting into all sorts of shenanigans would be gold. Also getting episodes of Lois, Malcolm and the boys. Heck an episode of Craig and Ida together or even Lavernia would have been amazing

A Dragon Ball prequel centered around Frieza's family and the Frieza Force would be a great spinoff series

The entire prequel takes place before and during the original Dragon Ball series but ends the moment Frieza arrives on Namek in DBZ. Think about it. We could see more development from King Cold with his interactions with both Frieza and Cooler. Frieza may be the public face running the empire but King Cold is still pulling the strings behind closed doors. We could see how King Cold came to know of Majin Buu, maybe even being aware of Bibidi or Babidi, and a chance for King Cold to really show his strength in battle.

We could see more of Cooler with his relationships with Frieza and King Cold, keeping a healthy distance from the two unless business calls for him to meet with both if not one of them. Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz going around from planet to planet doing Frieza's bidding, hearing rumors and whispers of what really happened to their planet. Vegeta's growing hatred for Frieza, his rivalries with Cui and the Ginyu Force.

Including the Ginyu Force would just be great. Who doesnt love these guys? Zarbon and Dodoria would also be recurring characters, same with Cooler's Armored Squadron. And maybe just maybe a cameo of where the hell Babidi is within the universe with Dabura and his minions and what they were doing while waiting for their return to Earth

In the episode "The Horror Won't End" while charging his Solar Kamehameha, Cell begins to recall the events of his timeline now believing he Is truly the perfect being due to cheating death. The first thing we see in the flashback involves Dr. Gero, Androids 17 and 18 which raises interesting observations and questions.

First, we see Dr. Gero in his Android body. Why would Gero be in his Android body? Unless it was the only way for him to physically be there upon Cell's birth given when we first see Gero in the flashback he is working tirelessly on Cell presumably. How long as Gero been an Android in this timeline

Next, Androids 17 and 18 arrive via elevator in Gero's basement laboratory. What are those two doing running around? Did Gero allow them to run wild on the citizens of Earth by day and return by night? When they begin being disobedient and causing mischief, Gero threatens to use his remote to shut them off if they don't go back to their capsules to sleep.

If I recall correctly when Cell often tells his timeline, he doesn't mention much about Goku and the Z Fighters being active in the future. Presumably killed by 17 and 18 most likely. Did the Dr. Gero from Cell's timeline had any interactions with Goku and his friends? It just seems interesting and if not a little odd that we see him in his Android body, then 17 and 18 come into the picture

Thoughts?

By the time Goku was battling Nuova Shenron along with Eis showing up to cause mischief by first targeting Pan, Syn was already in that city observing everything from the shadows. Observing Goku's fighting style against the twin Shadow Dragon brothers. When Syn finally steps out of the shadows so to speak by killing Nuova, he says "I wait. No more."

Now its most likely what Syn meant by that is he no longer wants to sit back and observe while his comrades have all the fun. Perhaps sickened by Nuova being so honorable to not strike Goku when Goku was left temporarily blinded by Eis.

However, could it be possible that Syn was stalking Goku and Pan since he was released from the one star Dragon Ball? Even when he started fighting Goku, he was toying with him by stalking and attacking Goku. Afterall Syn in GT is the final villain in the series. The final boss. It would kinda make sense for him to wait in the shadows before emerging

I have to say as much of an asshole and a literal creep for following Malcolm into his high school years being Malcolm's teacher again, I do like Mr. Herkabe's character. He is intelligent, obsessive, narcissistic, bitter and vindictive. The Riddler was obsessed with besting Batman in intelligence, losing more of his sanity each time he was bested by Batman.

Mr. Herkabe became obsessed in proving his superiority and intelligence over Malcolm after Malcolm broke Mr. Herkabe's intelligence scoreboard record by reducing all his students by number of rank on the board. Take away the theatrics, the puzzles and death traps, it's The Riddler being dropped into our world but a more grounded and psychological take.

Every rewatch I have and Im currently having a rewatch now currently in season 3, Im always impressed and entertained by Mr. Herkabe. The actor did a really good job with this character and would have killed it playing The Riddler in an actual Batman movie.

I personally think he was a great character and first major villain in GT. As Im now rewatching the Baby saga, I really enjoyed how Myuu was introduced seemingly as the puppet master from orchestrating the Ludd cult through Dolltaki, using Giru to act as a spy, and using General Rilldo to carry out his orders. Cold and calculating, pulling the strings from his own lab

The twist of him being "created" by Baby doesn't bother me as much when taking in the GT Perfect Files as it states Myuu was ordinary on M2 before encountering and being taken over by Baby. Heck, whose to say Myuu didn't have ambitions before meeting Baby to conquer the Galaxy? I like to think despite being controlled or programmed, Myuu's own personality didn't fully die and it resurfaced by GT and somehow believed he created Baby instead

I also liked Myuu's overall design and the use of having his eyes covered with those sunglasses shade like lenses was an interesting touch

I just want to make it clear that he isn't a favorite of mine and he got what he deserved when General Rilldo killed him, but I applaud the fact this type of character even existed in the first place. There's a lot of weirdos and creeps in our world with obsessions on items or people. And in Dolltaki's case it ended up being Pan. So why not have a character like that somewhere in the galaxy? We haven't seen a creep like this since General Blue I reckon

The scene with him trying to remove Pan's clothing is still very uncomfortable especially Pan's protest, if not outright disturbing. It was definitely intentional and goes to show GT wasn't afraid to have these types of bastards or just take unique risks in general which is another reason why I love this series.
