Why are BB fans such wet farts?

Why are BB fans such wet farts?

Finally got to see them live after like 15 years and noticed the crowd were VERY miserable.

Now I go to concerts more than your average person for sure, maybe atleast 1 or two a month, mainly hardcore/shoegaze adjacent, anyway, i'm used to crowds especially ones that are quite rumble tumble.

Everyone at BB looked like they had a stick wedged up their asses standing there with their arms crossed shoving people and getting angry whenever someone would lightly brush past them or a most pit opens up, i recall one women screaming ''fucking stop it!!'' at people when a mosh pit opened next to her rather than just moving out of the way.

Do most of you guys not really go to any concerts? Or is it yall just listen to the mainstream NPC rock/metal bands and can't really grasp the general etiquette of rock or metal shows? Hardcore crowds are so much nicer to be around than crusty ahh metal chuds

weird and soft asf

band still rocks tho just most of yall are smelly and look like you've been harboring a tough fart for the past week and a half

thats all teehee

Winter travel advice?

Hey all,

I'm having some trouble picking somewhere to go for a winter christmassy getaway with my girlfriend this early December; here's the plan thus far

We're getting the eurostar from London to Disneyland for 3 days
3rd day we'd ideally get the train into paris and get another eurostar there to our next destination (not against getting a flight from paris if necessary)

What we're looking for is a nice snowy christmassy place that has a really nice view of snow/mountains from a hotel, ideally the hotel is a spa hotel. Nice stuff to do outside of the hotel, christmas markets etc and just a nice safe happy atmosphere - Also something that doesn't break the bank

We'd love for the train ride to have some beautiful scenic views too

Any ideas? ChatGPT has suggested a few, the one i like most is Innsbruck in Austria, but still not 100%

Thanks so much

Do these shin guards fit? beginner

Hey all,

I'm starting my first class in the morning and my shin guards arrived, i also have 14oz gloves - my question is do these fit okay? They're small size and seem to cover my knee, feel a bit rigid, the part around my foot feels a bit awkward too, i'm 5'8 around 65kg, one on and one off for reference of my other leg. I'm not really sure how they're meant to fit and feel, you know, so if anyone could help me out id appreciate it!

Tips for new starter

Hi all,

im joining a gym that offers multiple classes of different arts, judo, muay thai, boxing, wrestling, mma, bJJ ETC

I'm going to strive for 2 classes a week just muay thai for the first few months or so and then maybe add an additional third class where i do judo/bjj.

i have NEVER trained in any sport or gone to a gym like this, what can i expect? As i feel a bit anxious to start - anything i should be aware of? not do, ettiquette? can i expect to happen etc also any tips for starting muay thai in general that i can keep in mind, cheers

Many thanks

New Beginner

Hi guys, i've decided to take the leap and try muay thai and boxing classes at a local gym after work, the gym is regarded quite highly (London fight factory).

It's something i've wanted to do for a while for defence and general fitness though i never have due to confidence, i always get too nervous last second and don't go, if there's any tips for this please let me know, anyway, i have some questions though;

I'm looking at doing 2 classes a week to start, one boxing, one muay thai (Is this a good mix? i'm open to doing 3 classes a week after proving to myself i can do this and get into a good routine)

What shall i wear? Shorts and a random t shirt?

Anything i should look out for or be wary of?

Many thanks

Can't help but feel Season 2 is wildly overrated

My girlfriend and i have recently binged all seasons and came to our ranking of:

Season 1 favourite, Season 3 and then Season 2 last.

I was surprised to see season 2 was ranked a lot higher on peoples lists as their favourites on this reddit... Why? This isn't a 'My opinion is superior and yours is wrong' post, an opinion is an opinion, I'm genuinely curious why that one tickles your fancy more than the other two?

For me personally, I didn't really like any of the characters in S2, didn't connect and grow attached to them - My favourite character that season was literally Jack, I felt sorry for him. I thought it felt less realistic and more like a spy film in contrast to the first season especially the ending, and tanyas death was so fucking stupid we laughed. We felt none of the storylines we're that enticing and found it to be pretty obvious early on that Tanya was the one who was going to end up with her body floating in the water. The cheating/infidelity storyline we found to be more annoying than anything, it lacked the humor and charm the first one had with armond and co, just didn't really radiate with us and felt quite flat., storyline weren't too gripping either at all. We just assumed people liked S2 because its based around more promiscous themes with infidelity/love/sex/prostitution and a sex scene in every episode which a lot of people are suckers for, but we were just meh.

I actually preferred season 3 a lot more, the characters were a lot more likeable, we loved rick, frank, belina and zion, chelsea, grew to love saxon, lochy, mook, gaitok and we haaated victoria she was so annoying and jaclyn and co! The storylines we found to be much more gripping, especially with rick and the ratcliffes (even though we never get to see their reactions when they find out the news, which was annoying) it grew back some of the humor that s1 had, and same general vibe even though it again does end in a big shoot out... and Greg!!!

And S1, where do i even begin, what a masterpiece, it felt realistic to the point where these could genuinely just be real people staying on vacation in hawaii, even the death in armond being reactionarily stabbed in the chest (albeit the pooping in the suitcase and shit) seemed much more down to earth an enjoyable, it had the right amount of sex, this, that and crude humor where i felt s2 just said ITALY!! SEX!! LUST!! SWOLE HORNY MEN!!

I'm very excited for season 4 in france, I wonder if Greg will return!

Fight and weird crowd in London

Hi, toward the start of BBs set there seemed to be a scuffle near where i was standing near the sound desk,

it looked to me that someone tried to get past a guy to get to the pit, and the guy ended up pushing the guy trying to get there forward, into other members of the crowd

a song or so later another guy who was standing where the guy got pushed, went up to the guy who pushed him and started cussing him out something about his girlfriend getting hurt because he pushed the dude and a bit of a scuffle. Anyone else see this or any other clarity?

Has concert etiquette gone out the window? It's a rock show, why push someone into other people because they're trying to get to the pit? I feel like the show was full of people that rarely go to shows, i saw one girl screaming at people in the moshpit in the center too telling them ''Fucking stop it now!!!'' lol what

Office Work Colleagues

Hi all, I currently work as a community manager in an office and work in a small team, been here for 3 months so still in probation.

Before this i was manager bars/hospitality, worked in a very close knit team that im still friends with to this day.

I don't know if its culture shock or what but i just feel like the team here talk about me behind my back, or just lowkey dislike me, i cant put my finger on it, but the vibe just changed, i can chat to them one on one and get on with them that way just some of them are extremely blunt, the only ones i really get on with is my manager and one other co-worker who is leaving (the only two other guys) the rest are all women, they love a bit of a gossip between each other, but its like for example, just now one asked me a question about a meeting we had and then after i answered she turns and gives colleague 'B' a particular look, which tells me there's something they've probably spoken about.

Also, i dont think ive done anything bad or anything to them, im always polite, get on with my work and the manager says he's extremely happy with me and my progress and sees me going far in the company. I'm always open to help people or have a casual chit chat, never bad mouth anyone.

Is this just how it is in these environments? or am I just overthinking orrr have i just been dealt a bad card and should I put a transfer request in asap lol

My Outbreak 2026 Review (yours too!)

Hey all,

Just wanted to give my thoughts on this years Outbreak - I've been going since before Covid and it has grown exponentially which is great! Also, this is solely my opinion and i'm really going to try to not come across as obnoxious as that isn't my aim!

Attendance/Queues
I've seen a lot of people talk about the footfall - that it was oversold... This was definitely the most crowded Outbreak i've ever been to, even in the recent years with the addition of the outside stage. Wherever it was oversold is questionable, but there definitely was a lot of issues with bottlenecking around the festival grounds - BEC is tiny and if Outbreak want to continue to grow they're going to need to find somewhere else to host it. As for the queues, i myself didn't encounter much trouble for food, bar or toilet but i didnt queue at peak times at all, did well to avoid that! it is a festival, there's bound to be some queues for amenities, cmon. I also think the layout was quite stupid aswell tbf, having stalls right at the entrance was a weird choice and there was a constant crowd due to the toilets in that slimmer walkway to get into the main area.

Booking
I think there was a lot of issue with deciding who is on what stage, snail mail // hatebreed or end it is a clear example, should have been flipped.

I also think booking a very active band like static dress for a secret set is so pointless, like why secret?

Stagediving
ALSO, respectfully, i know people can express themselves through movement however they please BUT iIf you're new to the scene or no barrier shows PLEASE learn how to stage dive safely - Of course it isn't the safest practice ever, but during midrift especially I noticed a lot of (in the words of the great Parker Cannon) FUCKERY!! - If you're about to dive and can see the crowd is thin in a spot DON'T dive there, either just hop off quickly or turn around and try the other side/middle, if its the same then just hop off, don't stand around on the stage like a dick either tf otherwise you're hitting the floor straight away and I saw SO many kids diving straight onto the floor ontop of each other, - I myself also had to learn this the hard way when I was younger. A lot of them gave me tiktok kid vibes, if you know what i mean, if that is you PLEASE take my advice here, and also, stage diving is not a practice to deliberately try to hurt people in the crowd, do not do that.

Also what is with the ''stagediving'' where dudes are literally just popping a squat and slowly sitting on someones head and laying down? My girlfriend is 5'2 and the amount of dudes that decided she was the safest option to try that... i'll never understand lol I can't wait for the set video to come out for that bc shit was hysterical lol, you'll see with a permenant ''bro wtf'' expression while trying to protect her.

Feel free to tell me im wrong or if anyone else noticed this for any other bands.

Also some of you need to cut your nails, I got my face scrapped by some dude as he dived during Fiddlehead and his nails were that of a werewolf, same thing happened to the bro next to me during Midrift but his eye :( I'm used to taking knocks at the front, it's expected, but bruh cut yo damn nails

Security
Security was different this year, not Hood Soulja BUT i think the did a good job regardless, though I do prefer the OGs, i wonder why the change? Also the venue security were pretty chill, my gf and i accidentally walked backstage outside past the security and got to meet Crystal and Akil from End it. Lovely people!

Moving forward I think either a new venue is necessary to hold the capacity, have more vendors etc or a restructured layout, vip area needs to be slightly smaller in my opinion, do we also really need 2 coffee stalls? I actually didn't mind the venue it was at in 2023, idk why it gets so much hate, i remember the toilets leaking or something though lol.

Otherwise it was a great weekend and i don't have any complaints, excited to see what next year brings!

Does Crushes Coaster actually spin much?

Hey all,

I went to dlp with my other half a few months back, went on CC for the first time during magic hour and we were kinda anxious to try it as we're not fond of super spinny rides and saw loads of people online saying how it spins crazzzzyy... so we went on it and were facing backwards...and is barely span, it sort of slowly span around a couple of times so we were at the front by the end but it wasn't violent spinning or anything.

What gives lol
