Mine is in porcelain with underglaze coated in a clear crackle.
I’m typically not a very symmetrical sculptor but this has been a fun exercise - to build upon a consistent style.
Magma glaze came out great on the face but less texture on the black for some reason. Stress fracture on the inside didn’t make it to the surface which is good. Going to improve build process and drying method - maybe not porcelain, something with a bit of grog?

Hare number 13, i often go back to sculpting the same thing to benchmark progress.
Aka The Mad March Hare from Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I sculpted a bust first in porcelain with a luster crown of straw, then painted a portrait followed by a screen print for editions..
The air must’ve been compressed because when I punctured it, it ‘exhaled’..
Had this idea to make a small vase from the neck and head of a peacock and then the flowers can make up the ‘crown’ or crest.. was just going to do a basic white cracquel glaze - thoughts?
The more the grotesque the better? This is high fire porcelain and I think a green shino glaze. I made a hole to use a twig as a lure.

Finished the custom regulation gnome hat vs Gnüm Beanie. I think I still prefer my original notion of a pointy beanie..thoughts?
I love Japanese folklore and always been obsessed with water goblin Kappa. He has a divot in his skull that would make a great birdbath. So here was my process and the print inspiration.

The rare situation where that glaze gods were kind, I used several types of wash gloss over an underglaze base done on greeware. I think the body was BMix.
