Enchanters are the ones that scale best into the late game. Even if you lose your lane (I actually just stomped a Lulu in lane), as long as there’s someone on your team who is at least somewhat strong, in theory you just need to stick with them, spam some shields and you’ll eventually outscale the opposition.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
My main sups are Bard, Shen and Thresh. But I've been having a REALLY hard time in recent games, i'm just not playing good league rn.
There's a massive gap in skill ceilings at this rank that’s just exhausting; the variance in matchups—especially regarding the ADCs you play with and against—makes it hard to find a universal pick that’s a solid all-rounder.
And the people... bro... I'd rather deal with five Bronze players than a single Emerald player; it's just awful.
I only play about 3 to 5 matches a week, so it's really hard to make that work, lol.

We (me and Draven) lost the level 1 trade and got killed due to exhaust and he immediately tilted; it got to the point where I just abandoned him to try and help Darius (which worked, partly).
However, I was stuck with two of the worst late-game ADCs in the game, so the writing was already on the wall—not to mention the Hecarim, who was clearly a smurf (70%+ win rate).
Even though I participated in 70% of the kills, it wasn't enough to carry two anchors. Would you guys have dodged in that situation? If you play Bard, are there any allied ADC picks that would make you dodge?
I’ve just come off three straight losses that followed the exact same script.
My allied ADCs were Vayne, Kalista, and Kog'Maw, while the enemy team ran Xayah (twice) and Caitlyn.
Honestly, the next time a Kalista shows up on my team, I’m dodging; it’s impossible to work with them. They’re "theoretically" late-game ADCs, but by the time we actually reach that stage, my carry has already managed to get themselves killed ten times.
Is it so hard for carries to rub two brain cells together and pick a carry that’s a bit more consistent?
I'm playing mid, currently i play LB and Galio, i want a Ranged AD as third option.

I remember he was quite viable in competitive play a few years ago, but it seems like the champion himself is pretty weak now, one of the lowest winrates both mid and ADC—what do you think?
I’m currently a high-Platinum Bard main playing Flex with two Silver friends.
Bard works well in my solo games, except when my team has absolutely no clue about map awareness, roaming, or wave management. I know I’m not high Elo, but in Flex, for instance, my mid-laner friend gets matched against Emerald or Platinum players and always gets stomped. My ADC can't dodge a single hook or spell.
Bard scales well and has good roaming, but it doesn't matter if your top laner has already died three times. I need better mage support options to try and carry these guys, since Bard isn't great at forcing fights during the laning phase.
I'm having a bit of an identity crisis here. I’ve been playing for a few years, and I play both mid and support.
This year I’ve been prioritizing support in SoloQ because I really like Bard, he’s currently my favorite champion, and when I play with friends, support is usually the role left over, so that’s where I have the most matchup knowledge.
But I really miss being the "protagonist" of the game, you know? A teammate once told me I only play support because I’m always waiting for someone else to carry me, and that really got into my head, lol. Seems like i'm just trying to prove myself wrong and i can carry a game by myself.
However, I’ve already played like 150 ranked games this year, and I don’t really want to learn how to play mid all over again. For those of you who play more than one role: how do you deal with this feeling?

My problem in recent matches is that it feels like, no matter how my laning phase goes or what my KDA looks like, some laner ends up doing something stupid late-game, and we lose.
My last match, I played Thresh against Malphite, Nocturne, and Zed. Even though my ADC was really strong, there was nothing I could do against a dive from all three of them. In the final fight, Samira was alone in mid and got dove by the three of them; we lost the game despite having had an impeccable laning phase.
Our comp was terrible, Teemo, Talon, Zed, Samira and Thresh. It seems like no matter how well I play in lanephase, i still lose due to comp diff, my laner can't side because he would die all the time, and you just feel powerless. In lane phase, you can roam, you can initiate, but in late game you'll really need to rely on your carries and that's the main problem.
How to deal with that? What separates a high elo support in terms of late game, fighting 4v5, your carries don't have a good positioning. Sometimes i feel that i'm being held back by this role.
I’m talking about climbing to a high rank by playing from the very beginning—going through Bronze, Silver, Gold, and so on—rather than just being a Bard OTP in higher elos where players already have a better grasp of the game.
It often feels like, especially when playing support, you’re just at the mercy of whether your team does something stupid at the 30-minute mark, throws away a Baron, and loses the game.
Are there really people who can climb from zero to Diamond or Master using only Bard?

I really like Alistar's theme, Moo Cow Alistar is the best skin in the game for me, I'm a support main, but every time I try to play him it's a disaster.
Any support pressures me at level 1, limited range, lack of synergy with the carry, I can't ward or roam for 30 seconds without my ADC killing themselves in the process.
It seems like I need a complete overhaul of the champion.
