Dream I had of a 2nd Dororo anime reboot

In this dream I had recently, I was watching yet another anime adaptation of Dororo.

The animation has the same quality as the 2019 anime.

It used the Osamu Tezuka artstyle. Basically if the 1960's colored anime pilot had modern animation.

I was watching it english dubbed.

Dororo's voice sounded like if the 1969 anime's VA for Dororo spoke english.

Hyakkimaru's voice sounded like Keanu Reeves talking like Kevin Conroy's Batman. 😅

I beat the original Star Fox for my first time!

Since Star Fox is becoming popular again, I felt like replaying the original to boost my skills at the game and now my practice with the game throughout the years finally paid off.

Just finished the 2019 anime today!

The ending of the 2019 anime is not what I expected.

I like that the 2019 anime’s ending is different from the 1969 anime not just because we see how things end differently in some areas, but because it helps this anime adaptation stand out and does more of it‘s own thing.

Although I like the 2019 anime’s ending for doing new things, I will admit that I find the last scene rushed. I get that it‘s going for an up-to-interpretation style ending with what happens when Dororo and Hyakkimaru reunite, but I was expecting there to be dialogue between them to know more about their current lifestyles so we can have more proper closure to this adaptation instead of just showing Hyakkimaru turning around to face Dororo while smiling.

Other than that one complaint I have about the ending, I still find the rest of the ending satisfying.

I like the 2019 anime just a bit more than the 1969 anime because of both the animation (Now don’t get me wrong, I still hold respect for the 1969 anime’s animation for having Tezuka’s artstyle, but I just find it refreshing to watch an anime adaptation of this franchise that’s in color other than that pilot movie from back in the 60’s) and some story changes to make things more refreshing and interesting.

Schala in casual wear

I love Schala!

This is how I imagine her dressing up in present time.

I’ve been replaying Chrono Trigger recently and I decided it’s finally time to make fan art of this beauty.

I finished up Superstar Saga!

I got both Mario bros. to level 51 by the end of the game.

It took me either my 3rd or 4th try to beat the final boss due to how complex that battle is from the others in the game and how much practice it takes to get used to the muscle memory of dodging and counterattacking.

I put 25 hours into the game.

I had an awesome time with this game!

The battle system took time to get used to, but when I did, I was having fun with it especially thanks to me mostly upgrading the POW stat for both of the brothers.

This is the only Mario & Luigi series game I own.

Which Mario & Luigi game do you recommend I play next?

This is one of the most fun Final Fantasy games I ever played. I found this game’s handling of action-RPG elements fascinating. I found the open world stuff so immersive, that I had a hard time deciding when to take a break sometimes because that’s how much I got sucked in the game’s world. One of the contributing factors to what made this game such a fun time was listening to those interactions between the main 4 characters. I will admit it‘s awkward that not all the game’s story and lore is in the game. I’m personally okay with it because the expanded media helps make Final Fantasy XV more memorable to me. The game’s ending could’ve been longer in my personal opinion. I wish that some characters had more moments. I was personally expecting Lunafreya for example to have more moments to make her character more interesting. I know Final Fantasy XV has its flaws, but I still like it mainly for the action-RPG gameplay and the main characters interactions with each other.
