Undeath Lich can Fly and Classical Lichdom

Hello, I have been playing around with the undeath mod for a while. I've got an Xbox series x and I cannot find the mods that let the lich fly around as well as the classical lichdom mod. If anyone here can help out and port it to the Xbox it would be amazing, if you have the time and are permitted too by the author of the mods. It would be an amazing help to further upgrade the game and immersion.

Thanks

Wintersun, a nordic lich's decision

Among the wise here, would know of the wintersun mod for skyrim. Allowing you to pursue worship of any god you chose. Here's the deal, my character is a nord necromancer lich, courtesy of the undeath mod and others. But... what god would a Nordic lich follow? I am decided between Mannimarco, Molag Bal, and the old ways aka the dragon cult.

Help me out, which ones do you think I should pursue? And if you have any other deity in mind, please let me know because he also a bit ambitious for magic so that also leads him to old Herma's shack.

I should probably add some context. In my personal head cannon he was a dragon priest of old, whom is Miraaks long lost brother. On the last battle of the dragon wars when Alduin was banished forward in time he was struck by a spell that basically made him be stuck in a state of beinf half aware, being a lich by this point he spent thousands of years roaming tamriel not knowing who he was or what was happening. The spell would break once he came back to the land where it happened, to skyrim. And now he is picking up the pieces of his life.

I have dragon priest armor mods and shout mods to refine it. He also will be heavily conflicted about stopping Alduin and killing dragons, but in my head cannon he will learn thu'um such as that he can bring them all back and eventually rebuild the dragon cult. Even if it takes him centuries. But as of now he is conflicted on which patron to follow first

So yeah, just conflicted. Penny for your thoughts?

On and off with ESO. Does this happen to most or few?

My relationship with ESO is on and off. I pick the game up for a few weeks and then drop it for months. It drains me. Most times it feels like there is nothing but grinding, but to what end? More power? More items? I wanna have fun, not grind eternally. Guilds are fun, I've made great friends from them, and it brings me joy that, but thats about it. The story lines rarely are exiting, the classes are great, love em. Im not saying the grind is abhorrent, one must grind for the character to reach their peak, but sometimes I feel like there is no end to it. The game is good, but that's my only half-gripe with it.

Also, the updates seem to be going great so far. Hope I can experience them whenever I get back into the game

Mannimarco's bossfight

Okay, so Mannimarco is the most powerful necromancer in the history of tamriel, even became a god. But that's besides the point.

Mannimarco is more than just a necromancer or lich, he is a former member of the psijic order, the wizards that can stop time, appear out of nowhere and are believed to be the most powerful mages in tamriel. Mannimarco, being a former psijic, should know all those spells unless if they wiped his mind when they expelled him from Arteum

Like, Its great he's summoning undead, love that. But mayhaps it would have been better to have him combine his necromancy with psijic magic. Like teleporting around or stopping time around an area and you had to dodge at time to not get trapped. Some bosses in dungeons have more powerful spells that shown by Mannimarco. I know its different cause they are dungeon bosses and he is a main story boss but lore wise he should be more of a challenge.

Just a thought. Also, I still dont know why they dont have in-game Mannimarco look like he did in the trailers. Like 😩 he speedran twink death

Liches, hopes for future games

Alright, so it may never happen considering Bethesda has never given us the chance in previous games, that and liches haven't really been a focus point say for a few odd missions here and there. I would kiss Howard's feet if in the next entry we could be allowed to become a lich.

Imagine, making a necromancer of your character and there being questline only doable if your character has the appropriate necromantic spells and alchemical materials that would conclude with your character's ascension to lichdom. Unlocking new powers, spells, and whatnot

It would be so peak

Goblins and Elves, more powerful than human wizards?

I dare say that most likely yes. Alright, so, we all know that goblins and elves have been mistreated for centuries in the wizarding world, even to the point they have been forbidden the use or wands and the elves being enslaved.

But lookey here, they've shown some amazing magic like pure instinct. No incantation, no wand, Dobby sent Lucius flying back like prime Anakin, and disarmed Narcisa with a snap of his fingers. And I also know he did something to provoke dear old Bellatrix to say her line or "You could have killed me!". Funniest shit I ever seen

Anyways, let's hop a good century before the events of the main series to hogwarts legacy where there is a full on goblin rebellion. The goblins are super powerful, with them being able to cast complex and powerful magic with their bare hands. Yes they were defeated by a teenager who couldnt grow a mustache yet but i guess that's about par for the course for the chosen one stereotype. The main character was taking out entire camps of enemies by himself with less than a year in formal magical training, yes he had anciet magic but that's more of a cover for "plot armor" anyways.

Me thinks goblins and elves are pure menaces. The wizards should be grateful most of goblins are just really into banking and forging stuff rather than free themselves. Same as with the elves, the elves could really beat the shit out of the wizarding world if they wanted to. Actually I hope we get to see some real house elf action in the future.

Ohhhh, I just remembered something. Deek, the house elf from hogwarts legacy is casually apparating across the castle alone with the random house elves you come across during your journeys through the castle. And hogwarts is supposed to have charms to prevent apparition in or out of it. Yes, Dumbledore could do it but I think because he was the Headmaster maybe the castle recognized him as such and thus made for him an exception, or maybe he was just that much powerful that he could ignore magical charms preventing him from doing what he was doing. So either the house elves have special magical clearance, or they are all Dumbledore level

There ya go, nerdy rant for ya. Penny for your thoughts?

Hermeus Mora, the greatest among the Daedric Princes?

No, I will stand by my beliefs that goes to Sheogorath just because of how insane he is. Uncle Sheo on top

Anyways, Hermeus Mora, daddy Herma, the black flying spaghetti monster. Dardric prince of knowledge, fate, memory, and forbidden lore. The reason I tittled this the way I did is not because that I actually believe that he is the most absolutely powerful, but that he has... so many avenues I would say, he is the smartest of the daedric princes and clearly knows a lot of things that most of the others don't. It sounds strange but I dare say, he could beat every other daedric prince just by how much he knows, not through sheer raw power though that definitely is on tha table, but I just have to imagine Mora coming up with some unthinkable elaborate scheme with many steps to potentially defeat whatever prince he is currently beefing with.

I know he had that whole thing with Ithelia, but to be honest many of you may know more about that piece of lore than me. I didnt really pay attention to her, all I know is that she is the daedric prince of paths and was so reality breaking powerful that Mora had to lock her away in a magicless realm and make everyone forget about her. Crazy feat by the way, though I think he had help along the way

That's about it, I like Herma, he is just one point below my glorious king Sheogorath

Liches in the Elder Scrolls

Hello there

So, liches. Our favorite necromancer ghouls. We know the usual, necromancer who became so powerful they trapped their own soul in a phylactery to become powerful undead, gain new magics, and if they died they would eventually return from their phylactery

At least this is the more usual setting

Let's hop on over to the elder scrolls universe. Liches, gollow the same basic things but I've a bit of a thought. Can they return after death? Mannimarco did it but let's he honest, he is Mannimarco. And even then it was after a ton of shenanigans that occurred. He gets killed by the vestige and manages to return in a ghost form right afterwards instead of full bodily resurrection. Then he gets grabbed by Molag Bal, returned to mundus with a physical form. But everyone else who is a lich, can they return because of their phylactery?

Also, dragon priests are weird. They are liches but not in the traditional sense, they use the life force of their servants (the draugr) to fuel their undead existence. I think they are a less powerful form of lich considering they have no phylscteries that we know off and thus cannot return once killed

That's about it, just a nerdy rant for ya. Penny for your thoughts?

I wish vampires become better

I truly hope that in the midsts of all of these updates to the game such as the classes and the werewolf, the vampires also get some love. Most of my runs are magicka based, so werewolf doesn't work well with them. But honestly I am just more of a vampire guy than I am a werewolf guy. I hope they actually fix it, make it playable and likable, and not just throw a thousand different weaknesses with like six mid powers to fix it. The only good powers of the vampire are the ultimate, and the one that makes you invisible, the undeath perk is also good but meh.

So yeah, just a hopeful player. The pale boys need some attention from Xenimax

My hopes for Elder Scrolls 6, even though they may never occur. Based on my love for the more occult of the elder scrolls

I really want them to expand on the supernatural and magic in this game. What do I mean? I want them to add more spell variation at least in destruction school, i want to fire pure magical energy in side with fire, lightning, and ice. Also more variation for those elementalist spells.

I would also like them to actually make vampires good, like dont just throw a thousand weaknesses just for the fun of it and then add a dlc late to somewhat satisfy the players. And werewolves could also do some fixing, maybe getting more mastery over the transformation the more you level up with it and not rely on a ring. Back to vampires, give them more power in their base form and dont let all their strenght come in the form of a secondary form like the vampire lord.

Liches, this will probably absolutely never happen, but I wish you had the option to become a lich. Like if your character is a necromancer you can potentially do a questline and become a lich and gain amazing new spells

That's about it. I just hope they get more creative when it comes to the magical and occult of the game. Thanks for reading

A question on the nature of Hermeus Mora

Hermeus Mora, daddy Mora, the flying black spaghetti monster. Also known as the daedric prince of knowledge, fate, memory, and forbidden lore. My personal favorite of the gods of oblivion

Here's my question, does he actually know everything past, present or future by his nature as an urdra. Or foes he have to go out of his way to perform some unknowable ritual ti get visions of the past? Things related to old Mora have always been a little time warpy and strange but its just a thought.

Magic shenanigans

Yo, I was thinking, can anyone learn magic in the elder scrolls? Like, if your just some random peasant, even then could you potentially become the next Shalidor under the right circumstances? It would be cool

Also, game wise our characters just point with their hands and shoot magic like a glock on infinite amo, but lore wise do mages have to say incantations or anything for any certain brands or magic?

Penny for you thoughts

Wandless Magic

Hello again, earlier I wrote about unsupported flight. But a thought came in, wands are a mostly European thing in Harry Potter. In fact, so common most wizards there have a crippling dependency for them whereas outside of Europe like in the magical school Uagadou where wands are basically nonexistent. Like we see European wizards get expeliarmused and all the sudden they are no different from a muggle

Here's my thought, can all spells be casted without a wand? I would think so, but its just a thought that randomly came in through my noodle. Even Grindelwalt, whom in the movies showcased great wandless magic at some points used a wand to cast the bigger spell. Penny for your thought

Unsupported Flight

This is a short post, I just wanna yap for a minute. In the movies all death eaters can fly. In the books only Voldy and Snape can. Honestly, I do not mind all death eaters flying, I think the movies did it better when it comes to this. I mean, why should unsupported flight be restricted to two wizards? And clearly it isn't a power like parseltongue which is only available for descendants of Salazar Slytherin and Herpo the Foul, because we see Voldemort teaching it to snape. So I dont see why some people don't like the fact unsupported flight is more spread in the movies

That's about it, see ya
