Growing up without romantic attention from women really fucks with your self-worth, man

I know this is kind of water, but I want to rant regardless.

Growing up without romantic attraction from women really fucks with your self-perception, especially when all your peers are effortlessly getting into relationships and having women crush on them for seemingly no reason. It makes you feel like such an alien, wondering why you're the only one who can't experience romance.

This hurts even more after investing a lot of time and effort in improving one's appearance and still getting no attention whatsoever. You put in 200% and don't even get 10% back, which makes you wonder what the point even is in trying at all.

Idk I'm only 19, so maybe I'm too young to be hung up on this, but it's something that's been bothering me for a while now and I just need to get this out of my system.
