Just started advice needed please

So my son and I just picked up the hobby. Right now we are enjoying building and painting and playing small skirmish games against eachother. But we are starting to get more and more models and now im starting to need to plan on where I want this army to go. Im looking for advice on a main piece. What direction to go for a beginner? Vizzok, a verminlord, thanquol, screaming bell, doomwheel?

Right now I own:

Clan rats (20)

Stormvermin (10)

Rat ogres (3)

Warplock jezzails (3)

Brood terror (1)

So im about half way to an army. I know i need to build out more regular guys. But right now im interested in how the big guys play best with this base set up.

My first race!

Ran my first race after starting running in January. 10 mile trail run and I beat my goal time by almost 6.minutes, the adrenaline was pumping!
