Help!! My MIL has expensive taste. My husband put me in charge of getting her a nice, fancier gift. Budget can be $500-1k. This is for a milestone birthday. What should I get her?

It is time for us to upgrade our lunchbox situation. We have outgrown the PB Kids style lunch box with Bentgo inside. She still likes things girly and cute. What bigger lunch boxes are out there that are still cute? Also, do they make bigger Bengto boxes? She is eating everything in her bengto box and needs more food lol!

What has worked for your family? I am worried 5 in a cabin will be too much (we still need a pack a play) but the cruise seems like a better value when comparing to all inclusive. We have never done either as a family of 5!! What has your experience been?

My family and I are starting to plan a LAST MINUTE Caribbean vacation for this summer (eek), and I'm hoping this community can help narrow down the options. We're very much in the grandmillennial camp looking for classy vibes, beautiful beaches, great food, family traditions, and destinations that feel timeless and not trendy we can continue to go back to each summer and make it "our spot."

We're looking for the best family friendly caribbean destination and resorts that offer a mix of relaxation, activities for kids, and a little bit of luxury for us very tired adults. Bonus points for places with:

• Calm, swimmable beaches
• Boutique hotels or family friendly resorts with character
• Great local restaurants and Caribbean cuisine. We are foodies!!
• Walkable towns or historic areas
• Easy flights from the East Coast (atlanta is our main airport)
• Kid friendly excursions (boat trips, snorkeling, wildlife, etc.)
• Classic island charm and beautiful architecture

Some islands we're considering include Turks and Caicos, Grand Cayman, St. Barts, Antigua, Barbados, Aruba, Anguilla, the Bahamas, and St. Lucia, but we're open to anywhere in the Caribbean.

For those who have traveled with children, which Caribbean islands or resorts stood out as your favorite? Are there any hidden gems that combine luxury, family travel, and that classic grandmillennial aesthetic/vibe?

I keep going back and forth on MacKenzie Childs, especially the super popular Courtly Check pieces, and I need honest opinions from people who actually own it. AND would MC make a good gift??

I love the whole grandmillennial/maximalist vibe the hand-painted look, the slightly quirky patterns, the statement pieces. It definitely feels like the kind of stuff that makes a home look curated instead of basic.

But on the other hand… the prices 😅
Like, I can’t tell if I’m paying for actual craftsmanship and quality or just the brand name.

Some people swear it lasts forever and becomes heirloom, while others say it’s not as durable as you’d expect for the price.

If you own MacKenzie-Childs, has it held up over time? Would this be a good gift? Is it kind of overhyped? Is it something you buy a few statement pieces of… or go all in on?
