Testing the old Tegra Android version of Warband in my modern android 14 handheld..

I gotta say, it takes some getting used to with the gamepad, but it's really comfy xD

Just got myself a CF-31 Mk3.. How do I fully utilize the discrete graphics within?

I noticed that my toughbook comes with this Radeon GPU, but I don't have an option to fully use it as a display driver or for my games?

There was no amd settings program when I installed the 1 click driver pack as well.

What should I do? Is it possible to switch everything to the dedicated graphics card instead of the integrated intel HD 4000?

Test Drive Unlimited 2 (2011)

Ah, yes, the ideal marriage between nature, humanity, technology, and vehicles.

I'd live in this world if I could.

A question for Contract Killer players

Are these the final story missions of the game? I stopped getting red and orange (aka story related) missions in the game right after finishing these, and the description indicates it lol, is it time for me to move on to Contract Killer Zombies?

Bought a little something for my Samsung Galaxy S1.

I'm surprised that this new, beautiful Otterbox Commuter case for this phone is still stocked, in my local store lol, so I snagged it for cheap.

Now my Galaxy S1 looks great and feels good to hold.

CF-30 SSD Compatibilty?

Hi, I'm dead set on buying the CF-30 in celebration of my birth month in September, it's also basically the only laptop on sale in my country that satisfies my niche needs.

Anyway, since the spec sheets don't detail much, I have a question regarding SSDs.

- Would a M.2 SATA SSD fit and work, or should I use a 2.5 inch enclosure for that? I decided that I'll use one of my older laptop storage since prices are high nowadays.

Thanks.

One of the quintessential Frutiger Metro laptop designs, Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2.

These are the extra variants, "Happy Bird" and "Nature".

Boy, just looking at these makes me feel pure joy.

Just found my childhood intel atom netbook! So, I installed Windows XP on it.

When I got my hands on this netbook, my memories were filled with casual gaming in the early 2010s lol, it was also used by my sister for a brief time before it was back on my possessions.

At first, I was baffled because it took a few minutes to run, it was running Windows 7, with lots of bloat installed. Then I used E2B to install windows XP and then rice it to my liking.

When I finished customizing, I felt relief. I restored one of my old laptops for the first time, but then again, I'm not going to use it further because all of this is a distraction as I save up for my endgame retro gaming laptop. xD

Also, I managed to run Dark Souls on it lol, it's hilarious.

Feels weird to say this, but this is my first cleared game on my first handheld.

Game: Prince of Persia Harem Adventures

Handheld: Anbernic RG476H

It's a Java mobile phone game, and it's pretty much similar to the first Prince of Persia game.

But the thing is, I initially play it to see how far I can go on a quick romp, but the illustrations of the Sultan's harem you got after finishing each level keep drawing me in.

And thus, around an hour and lots of platforming rage later, I finished it xD and it's actually the first platformer I've cleared. I thank the beautiful ladies in the game for providing me motivation lol

My 3rd proper IEM upgrade! I'm so pleased with this one, I'll spend my hobby funds on other pursuits.

After spending two years with the legendary BLON BL-03, and three years with the miserable, poor-fitting Fiio JD7 and then a testing session on a local audio store, I decided to get the Softears Volume S along with a Spinfit Omni as my upgrade.

Luckily, someone sold the IEMs in mint condition for around 165 bucks, which puts this slightly below the retail price of a Crinear Daybreak in my country. I'd say it's very much worth it for that price!

Anyway, the sound signature fits what I wanted from an IEM.

I only use the low impedance mode, and it's balanced and smooth sounding; the bass gets punchy and impactful when a song/sfx calls for it.

The mids are great as well, layering and separation is clear, and the treble is really smooth without ruining much of the detail.

The vocals? I love them. Female vocals in particular sound sweet and I had a blast listening to JPOP songs.

The resolution is a big step up compared to budget IEMs I've tried, it truly felt like you're watching a 1080p video as opposed to 480p on budget IEMs. XD

This could sound weird, but for me, this IEM sound closest to my own Sennheiser HD660S2. I never get tired listening to them.

Anyway, with this, I think I'll resume saving for either a budget DAP or my waifu merch haha. That's all. And sorry if I yap wrongly as I'm not much of an audiophile ._.

Bought a RG476H a few days ago! What a fine machine.

I picked this up as my first retro handheld as well as a comfortable grip and a travel cover, because I want the largest 4:3 screen I can get, and I also want it to feel premium. And boy, it does not disappoint.

I bought it for 185 bucks, this might sound like a bad deal but I live in a backwater place where everything hobby related has crazy tariffs and markup.

First of all, the high refresh rate screen is so dang beautiful! Probably the best non-OLED screen I've seen on a handheld. I love LTPS screens now.

Second of all, the performance is quite strong for the price. I played some modern 3D, and gacha games, and it's playable, many of them giving 30 fps. It's also capable of turning on some heavier shaders for retro consoles.

Anyway, after extensive testing, I found that this thing can handle most, like ~70% of 6th generation console libraries (except xbox) on native resolution, fullspeed. And with some tinkering on the settings, about 90% of the library is playable with some frame drops, but without crapping out the sounds.

And as a bonus, it's capable of classic windows games emulation.. And funny enough, some games like the blackbox Need for Speed games runs better there than on PS2/GC emulators.

If you don't plan to play inherently heavy games like Shadow of the Colossus, Dirge of Cerberus FFVII or Steambot Chronicles it should be fine lol

Regardless, this has become my favorite 4:3 gaming device. It's capable, and the battery lasts extremely long if you don't play modern stuff. And with the grip and travel cover, I'll be sure to carry them on my travels.

After finishing the rest of the series, all that's left is the first one..

It feels weird, starting the series from the later entries and ending up with the very first one. I'm going in blind, I hope it's not as difficult as MC2 lol

Ahh man, look at this X60.. I love it, even though I saw some ppl here talk badly about this one! What a piece of compact retro tech. I'll be using it solely to play oldie titles, and nothing more. It perfectly fits my purposes.

I'm trying to make it as elegant as possible with the Dark Aero Glass theme and animated XMB wallpaper. xD

Don't mind the lag, I'm on a VM and my ordered ancient laptop isn't delivered to my place yet lol
