Imho, the only tv show to perfectly combine gory violence, explicit sex, intrigue, history and my love for Lucy Lawless. The one show where both men & women can feast their eyes. I watched it all when it first aired 15 years ago, now I'm rewatching it, and it has not disappointed. I can even get behind the many slo mo scenes because it's always in service of spectacle.
Any fans?
Since he's trying to rip off Star Trek, it has to be some weird French sci-fi. What would you suggest? Flesh Gordon? Zardoz? STAR SLAMMER?
They call him "Youngblood"
I know. I might be alone but I love this type of Cage more than Goodspeed and Red Miller, and those are phenomenal and hard to be topped.
This deserves a Spotlight, unless my mind is so broken, and they already talked about it since it's the same plot from Clash?!?
One more to go for a Royal Flush
I watched this first in 2000 when I was a kid, thought it was boring. A rewatch made me appreciate it. It's definitely a precursor to the Millennium trilogy imo. Also, 2nd time Redgrave played a "bride of Christ," at least this time nobody got executed on a pyre.
Blue Man Group really need the money now!
Somebody check on Jay to see if he's ok.
Watching the movie for the x-th time, I saw how it basically plays like a FPS/TPS, exactly like Doom & RE, and JC is famous for his love of video games. If only he could have adapted Dead Space. Also, is it coincidence there's 3 blondes at the end, in a movie produced by Sandy King?
Je ne peux plus respirer! I wanna draw you like one of my French girls.
I can't breathe!!
Only because Count Dante was never into fakery like acting
He said this after murdering a man just to impress his gf. This line still makes me laugh, bless you Ben Wheatly. Highly recommended movie.
