I took pictures of my (first) Syngonium to post and when I zoomed in I noticed this stuff in one of the leaves (which also has a brown spot on it). I took some close up pictures. Is it some pest?
It was in an early season (season 2 maybe) where one of the experts in the series said his mother was a hoarder. Does anyone remember who it was? Was it Matt Paxton, Dr. Hannan, Dr. Tolin, Cory, or someone else?
I’m rewatching S5 and in episode 2 I noticed when they were picking teams several of the queens (most notably Detox, Serena and Ivy) had a lot of lipstick. My thought was it looks like there had been a mini challenge we didn’t get to see. I checked Wikipedia and it says the mini challenge was ”Lip-sync to one of RuPaul's songs with only your mouth visible”. It sounds familiar so I think it was there when I last watched it. But it wasn’t in the episode on WOW Presents Plus now. This episode is about 3 minutes shorter than the others.
Anyone know why it was removed? I can’t remember what was potentially controversial about it.
I’m about two thirds into this book. Enjoying it so far. Saw an interview with one of the authors on the Peeling the Onion YouTube channel. The authors were in Scientology for a long time and were David and Shelly Miscavige’s stylists and I think they also designed the Sea Org uniforms. I bought in on Amazon. I think it’s only available there, in Italian, English and German.
Anyone else read it or know more about the authors?
It used to be possible to write quotes, as block quotes, using the >, like this:
>This is supposed to be a block quote, but it’s not.
But this doesn’t work anymore. You just get normal text with a > in front of it. I asked ChatGpt and it said Reddit has removed this from the app and not replaced it with anything else. So is there really no way to use quotes anymore in the app. I use Reddit 99,9% on my phone and don’t want to have to open it in the browser.
Visionpartiet ställer upp lokalt bland annat i Malmö.

True story: When Elton John and Bernie Taupin arrived in LA for Elton John’s first U.S. concerts at the Troubadour Club, they were astonished to find that their idol David Ackles was their opening act. Ackles was more famous in the UK than in America. John and Taupin befriended their idol and Taupin later produced Ackles’ third album ”American Gothic”, which was recorded in England.
The album only peaked at no. 167 at the Billboard chart. Reviewers loved it. One reviewer said the album was as groundbreaking as The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper album. Ackles seems to have been uncomfortable by all the praise. The eclectic album has piano songs as well as theatrical songs like the title track and ”Ballad of the Ship of State”, which show Ackles’ love for musical theatre.
This was Ackles’ last album at Elektra. His fourth and last album ”Five and Dime” was recorded at home and got no promotion by its label, Columbia.
The French version of the title track for ”The Road to Freedom” by L. Ron Hubbard et ses amis (L. Ron Hubbard and Friends). According to the CD booklet it’s performed by John Travolta, Gary Lux and Andrik Schaper.

This is part of the Third Dynamic Power Formula in the 1978 edition of Introduction to Scientology Ethics, the chapter about the Conditions Formulas. I haven’t read through the 2007 edition (which is about six times thicker than the old edition) but I looked in it and this part doesn’t seem to be there anymore. Does anyone have any other editions of this book (from the 80s or 90s maybe)? Is it in there?
Reading this I get the feeling it was probably transcribed from an LRH lecture rather than written by him. Does anyone know?
(Point #5 is interesting too. Btw does he mean Bulgaria or Belgravia? 😆 Probably the latter)
I saw an old video on YouTube from 2004 where Miscavige (on the Freewinds I think) talks about the Golden Age of Knowledge materials. Most of the books already had their eventual 2007 edition covers by this time. Also included is the book ”Notes on the Lectures”. I know there are older editions of this book. Does anyone know why it wasn’t included in the Basics? Looks like the planned for it to be. I haven’t read it but it seems to have been written at least in part by others. Maybe that’s why? Has anyone read it?
He also raves about a lecture series called ”Fundamentals of Fundamentals”, which I can’t find on Bridge or New Era’s websites. Anyone know anything about that one and what happened to it?
(I asked ChatGPT to upscale the book cover, swipe to see the original screenshot from the video)
If you’re curious about the video, it’s called ”Secret Scientology meeting with David Miscavige | June 2004” on YouTube.
