Hello, I applied for the spring 2027 semester for the inside wireman apprenticeship. I have no prior experience which I know is the point of starting as an apprentice but I'm wondering how high the chances are of getting accepted as long as I pass the aptitude test. If I pass it, is ir almost guaranteed I'm accepted or is there still a good chance that I will be rejected? Thanks
Been contemplating joining the apprenticeship program, my biggest concern is getting assigned a job super far away. The furthest point from me in the jurisdiction is about 3hrs. I cant imagine having to do that every day. Is their a decent amount of work in this area or would I be likely assigned far?
I have a Harrington and Richardson upper that I took out to shoot for the first time last weekend and I experienced some issues with the bolt getting stuck back and the nose of the bullet getting stuck as shown. I could pull the charging handle back and it would chamber the round just fine but I'm just wondering what it could be. Its not a gas issue the ejection was find and the bolt would lock back every time

Here's a quick video of the weak ejection (from my last post), the first 3 rounds were ejected fine but the last one barely comes out. I tried to slow the video down but I can't tell what's causing it. It obviously didn't have a malfunction here but I'm assuming this is why I'm getting the FTE issues is the random weak ejecting ones getting stuck
So I have about 2300 rounds through this Ap5p and it's been running 115-124 grain good but with subs it would have some FTE issues. So I changed my ejector to an HK gen 3 ejector since thats what everyone recommends, and it has only made it worse. Now I'm having way more FTE,s both with subs and 115 gr ammo. I don't get how putting the HK ejector in would make it worse, I also have an HK extractor spring. What could the issue be? I've measured bolt gap and it's in spec most casing have a good ejection pattern but some barely fall out of the gun

Since there aren't any ejectors in stock, would one of these pre cut ones work in an OEM lower the same as an uncut one? Or do these only work in a leber v2 lower
I just measured my Ap5p bolt gap and the biggest gauge i can fit is 0.30mm. After looking at what people recommend it should be at, that seems to be on the low end. Could that be causing the FTE issues with heavier sub ammo that I'm having or is it probably not related?
Also should i go ahead and buy the +4 rollers? thanks
So I've shot almost 2k rounds now at this point with my Ap5p and 90 percent of that is monarch 115 gr steel case and I've had no malfunctions at all with 115-124 grain ammo, but when I shoot 147-165gr subs every couple mags I'll have a FTE or 2. I'm running a 90 degree locking piece but if I switch to a 100 degree will that likely fix the FTE's with subs that I'm having?
So I know about the ARHK coming out soon but I'm wondering why wait for that when this is available? Is the ARHK just for people that want to keep the OEM lower or does this specific lower in the picture not fit the navy model ap5p?
Been waiting forever, is this ever gonna come back in stock anywhere? What makes it so hard to get more of these available?

Took the Ap5p to the range today for the first time and put about 800 rounds through it (I got carried away). I didn't have 1 malfunction. This thing shoots amazing. And the lithium suppressor is great
Ammo used - Sellier bellot 124 gr for the first 500
Monarch steel case 115 gr
Federal Syntech 150 gr
Federal Syntech 147 gr
Federal HST 147 gr
All ran flawless (used 2 HK mags and 2 MKE mags)
Got 500 rnds of S&B 124 gr to break in my ap5p but just curious did y'all break in your ap5's with or without your suppressor on? Does it matter either way?
Would you consider this at this price or should I just wait for something better. Also if you've shot this ammo is it super quiet? I can't find any good subs in stock lol
How do you like it? Have you shot it without ears with subs?Planning on ordering one soon, also if anyone has a cat MOB how much more quiet is it compared to the lithium? Thanks!
