Anyone else finding that the “press left key to repair” option on ps5 in the traverser is just dead and doesn’t work at all?

Hi guys,

I love my ranger but I’m at a stage in my life where there are lots of babies/toddlers starting to crawl coming round to visit etc.

Have any of you had any success in particular with any fire guards or anything you can recommend please?

So I’ve clocked 450+ hours on this game, the vast majority in casual breakthrough because I found it more enjoyable. More recently I’ve been playing straight breakthrough and it seems to be getting harder and harder to enjoy; not just because of moving from casual to the full game - because I’m sure people will say that. There’s been a change in the last few weeks and it’s got worse.

Seldom am I on a winning team and it gets tiring constantly losing. The hit reg feels all off and I’ll unload a clip into someone (with the computer telling me they’ve hit), but they’re fine, hit me once with an SMG and I’m dead. People don’t revive, they don’t repair tanks and I’m left more and more annoyed each time I play.

That’s my little rant over and one that I see on here not too infrequently.

My question:

Are DICE going to do anything in the future to make this a more enjoyable game for people like me (and I probably represent a majority) who are mostly OK at it, not amazing but obviously provide cannon fodder for the sweats? Like surely haemorrhaging players can’t be a good business model.

- Better team balancing?
- Better matchmaking?
- The option to choose defence or attack?
- Stopping us joining matches in the middle of games in progress?

There’s an episode of South Park where Kyle moves away and Cartman gets depressed because he’s no longer got someone to bully. While I’m not calling those of you who are obviously superior to myself, I think once all of us battledads have gone off to play something fun, the pro’s will be left fighting eachother and the unfortunate few of us who happen to join the game will hate it and leave.

I’ve got a classic 30 which is probably 20+ years old (which I appreciate isn’t that old for amps, just providing context) which has stopped working.

I was using it lastnight and the volume reduced but was still audible, then it returned to normal after \~30 seconds. It did this a couple more times and then stopped working altogether.

When I had the lead plugged into the amp but not the guitar, obviously if you touch that live end you get that noise but this wasn’t happening either, regardless of volume.

There’s a guy who’s happy to have a look at it for me but that will obviously be more costly than if it’s something I could fix.

Is there anything you’d suggest it’s likely to be please?

What’s the point of this game mode? It’s just impossible to win. Maybe 10% of the time I get lucky and I’m with a team who are actually playing but my god it’s doing my head in!

Hi all, I’m not an HGV driver but I’ve always wondered this…

In 50mph (cruise control set etc) zones with cameras up, there is almost always a lorry that comes past me seemingly at 55-60. For you guys, I presume points on your licence for speeding are a much bigger deal than for your average driver.

Is there something the people overtaking in lorries know that I don’t??

WHY DON’T ANY OF YOU TRY TO DESTROY TANKS??

I’m constantly the only person trying to destroy enemy tanks. Yet, when I’m driving a tank there are always people trying to destroy it. I don’t fucking get it.

Edit: while I’m at it, why is it that nobody seems to be able to hold an objective in breakthrough? I secure it with a couple of other guys, move on to get the next and the first is fucking gone immediately. Jesus I fucking hate this game but can’t stop playing it 😂

Further edit: just been trying recon and using C4. Stuck a load to a tank, detonated it, nothing happened.
