My system shipped with BIOS F4. Current version is F7c.
Updating fails after reboot with invalid bios file error. 8 gb USB drive, fat32 formatted.
Is it failing because the jump from F4 to F7C is to great? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I've got a gigabyte 850 C E motherboard on my ryzen based system I got from Best Buy. I've had it about 2 weeks I think, anyway the fans rgb only works via the button on the front of the case and won't sync with motherboard controlled rgb. Google says this is because the rgb hub is powered but not connected to the motherboard.
Is this going to be a huge pain to fix myself, should I just take it to best buy?
The fans don't show up under rgb in GCC but respond to fan curve changes and such.
The only thing that I need to do to perfect my living room PC setup is CEC.
I want to press the xbox button on my controller and have the TV come on and wake up my pc. I bought the xbox wireless adapter. What else do I need, and is there a noob friendly walk through?
I'm familiar enough with Linux to break stuff, which is why I went with bazzite.

I decided to play with Linux for a bit and now want back on windows.
I can't seem to get wifi and Bluetooth drivers loaded.
I've downloaded the package. Device manager says I have Generic Bluetooth Adapter
And under other Devices a Network Controller. I've tried hunting for other driver packages and I'm stumped. I've been working on this for several hours vand am really frustrated.

I can't get my hisense u8qg tv to recognize my g1 pro. It just says no signal. I THINK its because I don't have a bidirectional cable, am i right?
I've tried 3 different cables. I have a minisforum g1 pro with an Nvidia rtx 5060. It just says no signal. What am I doing wrong?
My cables are unidirectional. Is this the problem?
The computer fits in the cabinet of my entertainment center. How much trouble am I asking for putting it inside? It's on the floor next to the TV right now. The only holes in the cabinet are for cable passthrough.
I have a nvme 2230 to add to my pc. I know it comes with a heatsink for a full length card, but can I use it with the shorter SSD, or should I find a correct sized heatsink?

I'm planning on installing Steam App and just booting to big picture.
I know nothing about the company but this subreddit doesn't seem to be enamored with them.
Should I purchase? My needs are not crazy, I'm a casual to mid level gamer.

Is it possible to use Google photos to pick photos for sharing instead of Samsung Gallery?
I don't always want to share from photos I've taken with the phone. I've got like 12 years of pictures on Google photos.

I mostly use adaptive mode. Does Atmos or DTS:X override that mode or should I use Standard when dealing with Atmos content?
