Switch to bazzite to use Nvidia?

I just started using steam OS a month ago I really like it but I have a 5500xt I wanted to upgrade to a 3060 is it worth using Nvidia on bazzite or should I just stick to amd I heard it’s janky but other people say it’s fine so idk what to believe

Edit: reading the replies made me feel better about trying an Nvidia card thank you for all the feedback

I used this marketplace 6800xt with 650W psu and it shut off after a week of gaming on it. I borrowed 850W from main rig no boot no display max fans I’m not sure what to do

I tried reseating the ram only using one ram stick I even tried putting my 3080 in there and I got a boot screen with the 3080 so I don’t think it’s the Mobo I tried taking out the cmos battery for a couple of minutes I’m really considering just taking a L and selling it

I need “memory context restore” for my Steam OS PC I’m using a b550-A asus board but I can’t find it is there another am4 board I can use? Is this exclusive to am5?

I’m getting really bad boot times and my suspend/resume function isn’t working on the Steam OS Reddit they suggested using the mcr feature in my bios but I can’t find it I’m still in the return window for the motherboard so I’d rather get one that has this feature any advice is appreciated

Really slow boot times?

I recently built a PC with Steam OS but it takes forever to start back up and the games take a long time to load it makes me think of hard drive load times I’m using a 3600xt 6600gpu 32gb ddr4 ram 3200mhz and a 850 Samsung data SSD (I put Steam OS on this) could that be why?
