The Toto Toilet

Like Howard, I own a Toto Toilet and Luxe Bidet.

The Toto is the higher end version, $500+ with electric install, etc. Wife loves it, kid loves it. Has all the bells and whistles.

The Luxe Bidet is a STRAIGHT FIREHOSE up your asscrack. I prefer it more than the Toto, although it has no bells and whistles, and does leave your balls a soaking mess, which I then dry with my towel.

Here's the thing...the Toto is just not powerful enough to get the water into my rectum. I really have to angle it properly to break the anus. But with the Luxe, straight in. At that time, the rectum fills with water, and as you feel it fill up, you then basically blast it all back out. After that, you have the cleanest asshole/anus imaginable. As Howard comments, you can dig in with TP after that and it comes out completely clean. It's a dream.

Now maybe for some, the Toto gets all the way in there. Maybe a stronger hose, a looser anus, I don't know. But or me, I need the blaster.

The Toto does have the self-cleaning aspects that the cheaper Luxe doesn't, but the Luxe is also $450 less. So...you take what you get. AND...if you live in cold areas, the Luxe doesn't have warm water, so that's definitely a thing.

All told, both methods are fantastic, and I truly believe I am reducing future sickness by using these items. I have had two cologuards in the last 5 years and the doctors not only tell me everything looks great, but....that the idea of me launching water into my rectum is fantastic for my health.

Also, if your lady is one of those "I need to take a shower" before you go down, the Toto has you covered. That thing can clean a woman's entire region in a way that satisfies all.

Howard discussing this is truly a public health benefit, despite all of the other crazy shit he has going on.

Sticker Shock Vegas

Stayed at Vdara with a conference at Planet H the last couple of days. Honestly shocked at the price of EVERYTHING.

$9 for a tiny gelato
$10 for a beer at Cosmo
$30+ for breakfast (yoghurt bacon coffee) at Vdara
$25 tables for blackjack and craps
$8 for slice of pizza next to planet Hollywood

Taxi drivers all told me city is dead during the week and that weekends pickup but it’s a bad summer.

I’m not sure who can afford vegas or why it’s even a destination at this point.

Girls Weekend for the Mrs?

I know how to plan for the guys weekend because I’ve been there so many times, but I’m not sure exactly how to give my wife the advice she needs.

She is going to Vegas with five other women, who are all moms, in their 40s, relatively attractive, and probably want to feel even more attractive that weekend… the catalyst is one of them is getting divorced so somehow this kicked off a go to Vegas weekend.

Money is an object but they do have some
Means.

  1. nice hotel that’s not the Wynn or Venetian, that has a classier pool scene than a club scene

  2. restaurant that maybe also has a show of some
    Sort? Is that a thing?

  3. A day event that’s ‘cultural’ out of casino?

  4. A club but not a mayhem place like Omnia or Hakkasan. A place they can dance, maybe be hit on, but then HOME BY 2!!! 😉

  5. be great if hotel also had a chill spa.

6( A place to gamble that’s not crazy expensive on the strip. Does that exist?

Thank you.

Friend's Wife Shows Zero Intimacy - He's at a Loss

I've a good friend, Eric, and a couple of years ago he actually worked for me so we were in office together 2-3 days a week. In that time I learned a lot about his marriage, family, etc, and he learned about mine. We joke a lot of about many things, particularly women, cheating, etc. I'm in a relatively healthy relationship, so no real concerns on my end, but his is a mess and I don't think he can come to terms with it. He constantly asks me for advice, and because I'm the one he has told, I believe I'm the ONLY ONE he tells.

Here are the details:

  • They got married around age 28, about 22 years ago, and now have two kids, one in college and one senior in high school. They're strong kids.
  • Eric is employed, does well, and does everything for his kids who are competitive athletes.
  • Wife, Beth, is on and off employed, generally depressed, has older parent issues, and seems to take on all of life's problems even if they're not her own - she makes other peoples' problems her problems. Great person, but a bit of a mess.
  • They don't have sex. He has a high sex drive. In therapy he basically told Beth "I you love me but I don't think you're in love with me...you don't show it physically, and there's really no other way for me to know...words ring somewhat hollow at this point..." Her response to that was "This makes me sad..." Essentially, she became the victim, but she has literally done absolutely nothing to change the dynamics.

End of the day, the kids will be gone soon, he wants sex in his life, he wants passion, he wants to feel wanted. I am 100% positive he will never get this from Beth. I know her well enough to know that she's not going to make a seismic change and become someone who likes sex, or even truly is in love with him. I think she sees them as best friends; partners.

He's asking me for advice. I told him today "At this point, you want sex, you want to be desired...you should float to the therapist the concept of an "open relationship" and maybe just a relationship where you pay for sex...not even meeting other people. At least that truly expresses your desires in very stark terms."

Is this good advice?

I really think he should leave her altogether, but he has tremendous guilt and believes that would break her. He's a caretaker. I told my wife their dynamics, but she just said "I have no idea what to suggest..." So, here I am.

Has anyone been though something similar? Does it change? Thanks.

The 11 Warriors Site

New to their site. Great free content. But the message board is pretty terrible. What is with the arrows and graying out peoples comments? It seems so amateur and petty I don’t even understand it. Are those moderators who do this or can anyone just minus arrow comments? It’s pretty bad.

Thanks for the Tips; Outside Looking In

We stayed at the Landing, which was perfect for what we wanted. Weather was amazing and the staff were great. Plus we had access to Stateline so everything we needed was a walk. Watching soccer at McP’s was great and so was all the food.

I do find it surprising that the cuisine isn’t better for higher end diners. We weren’t looking for it but everyone we spoke to said South Lake lacks great dining. We went to Riva but after looking at the menu and getting the sense it was a tourist trap, decided not to spend the money. Instead we opened for the bar Artemis next door that has awesome Mediterranean food and great drinks.

I am curious what the best night life spots and restaurants are, assuming there is any. I know that it’s a wake early and take advantage of the day type of place, but I was curious if there was any real activity in the evening? We didn’t notice much, which is fine but we will be back for a week in August. We’re not party animals but again, curious.

Lastly, and I’m sure it’s everywhere, but the touristy man-o-sphere type guys who visit seem really lame to me. Idk if it’s just something I noticed more being on vacation but the bro-culture was strong. Maybe because of the celebrity golf event? Whatever it is, these guys just need to get it over with already and blow each other.

Thanks for all the tips.

Wayne Krantz & Keith Carlock - Funky Biscuit

I'm putting this here because I know there are a lot of music fans out there, especially Dead/Phish folk.

For those who know about Krantz, Lefebvre and Carlock, I don't need to explain (go to the 28 minute mark).

But for those who do not, I will say that Wayne K was the best thing that happened in my musical life. While living in NYC and frequenting the 55 Bar, his trio was beyond anything anyone else has ever done. And while it's not the same as it was, it's still incredible. Everyone who was anyone came to the show, and that includes the boys in the band, Bela, John Mclaughlin, Ribot, and anyone who was anyone. It was the thing.

Keith Carlock is IMO the best drummer in the world. He's been with Steely Dan for about 20 years now, and if you've never experienced him live, you'll want to.

I can't speak to the bassist as I'm not familiar, but if he is with these two, it's going to be amazing.

Caesars Republic vs?

My wife and I are heading to Tahoe July 5-8 for a few days. Seeing a band at the Hangar down the road, etc.

We're wondering if staying at Caesars is a bad idea. We are there to relax. We were hopeful the new pool would be nice and fun. We do want to use a "spa" and the price is a few hundred bucks less than other spots.

Is this a mistake? Are the rooms loud? Gross? Nice? Something else?

We're also considering The Landing by the water.

Suggestions appreciated.
