My mom’s birthday is at the end of October. She doesn’t have a skincare routine currently, but wants one and isn’t sure where to start. I was thinking about getting her something, but I’m not exactly sure. She has dry, mature skin. Wrinkles are obviously a concern. Is there any holy grail products you guys could recommend? I would like to keep it budget friendly. I want to make sure whatever I get her she is able to purchase when she runs out.

Not a widow, a coworker close to me just loss her husband in the most traumatic way possible. A substantial amount of money gift cards and a meal train is already in place for her. However, she’s not eating and is loosing weight rapidly. I didn’t want to give her more food or gift cards so I am putting together a basket for her with pajamas, socks, lotion, eye masks etc. I know nothing can take her pain away and no money food or gift. They’re gonna fix it but what is something you wish you had received when you were grieving or what really helped you that you wish you had earlier on?

I'm almost finished with my bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, and I'm considering joining the Air Force after graduation.

I am debating on joining the airfare because, I'm looking for more stability and the chance to travel and experience different parts of the world. Relocating isn't something that worries me. I've moved almost every year of my adult life, so starting over somewhere new is something I've become comfortable with.

I'm curious about how competitive this career field is and whether it's something you would recommend. If It seems like it may be competitive.

Long term, I'd like to earn a master's degree, build a career that allows me to see as much of the world as possible, experience different cultures, and have the flexibility to live in new places throughout my career. I'd love to hear any advice or experiences from those who have taken a similar path. Thanks in advance!

I’m thinking about transferring from my current in-person university to WGU and would love to hear from anyone who has made the switch.

I’m currently in a healthcare program, and honestly, I’ve been feeling pretty discouraged after what happened this semester. I went from having an A in a class to ending up with a D because of a group project situation where my group members didn’t get the assignment submitted on time. Since my program requires a C or higher to pass and classes are taken in sequence, I have to retake the course, which pushes my graduation back to Spring 2028.

For anyone who transferred from a traditional university to WGU:

• How was the transition?
• Did you like the self-paced format?
• Did you feel like you had more control over finishing your degree?
• How has WGU been viewed by employers, especially in healthcare?
• What are the negatives?

I need some extra money and was thinking about applying part time to one of my local Dutch bros. Is there any pros and cons? Do employees get any of the stickers or merchandise?

I’m currently going through an abusive relationship. Things have not gotten physically yet, but things are escalating very quickly. Our work schedules are opposite and we don’t see each other much, but every interaction we have turns into an argument and each argument is getting worse. We just moved into an apartment on our own less than a month ago. We are both on the lease. I’ve offered to take the lease over if he removes himself from it he said no, I’ve offered to leave and give it to him he said no, I offered to break the lease and he said no. He is very bad with his money and behind on alot of bills and I’m afraid he’s going to ruin my credit/rental history if I leave and go stay somewhere else. I don’t know what my options are anymore. Things are getting worse. I don’t have enough money anymore because he took it. I live in Texas btw.
