DISK SPACE JUMPED AFTER REINDEXING THE FULL BLOCKCHAIN

Before the BIP-110 trilemma today, I went ahead and reindexed my entire blockchain. I am running Knots 29.3.knots20260508 - which is the latest version as of this posting. I am on Ubuntu, with a separate drive and my disc space jumped from 780GB to 895GB, My question is if there are any redundant or unnecessary files that can be deleted to recover more space? A detailed explanation of the folder structure for bitcoin nodes would be appreciated.

For all those times when BTC was declared Dead

Truly sad to see so many lose all their BTC due to trusting a faulty piece of Open Source software that sat there - in the open - for over 5 years, and no other human being caught it, but AI did. Most of the world cannot read code, and those of us who can, focus on our own little repos and commits, rarely having time and interest in other projects. So the blame is on Coinkite 100% - it was sitting there waiting while AI found a way to be a bad actor again. Be prepared for more of the same. Generate your own seed phrase with analog dice, 100+ rolls + ridiculous but meaningful passphrase, 25 characters minimum + multi-sig. It's not hard to do, but you do need to take your time with it. You will learn more about the beauty of BTC as well.

One thing bitcoin has going for it, with regard to being stored on exchanges - you, the "owner" can trivially verify what, if anything, the exchange is doing with "your" bitcoin.

This is NOT possible with fiat, gold, stocks, bonds, any form of security instrument, or any other money substitute.

Now, could they still use it as collateral for a loan that spirals out of control and then gets weird... sure, but that is much less nasty than what currently goes on.

So lick our wounds and remember that BTC will outlast all these human errors as it always has.

Finally time to purchase a new phone for my daughter, which brand/model to look for?

Her iPhone 17 finally bit the dust thanks to her careless use of her electronics. So now its my turn to make the purchase. I have a Pixel 9Pro XL running Graphene and I have played around with dozens of AltRoms, she refuses to learn or care about privacy tools. Probably been using iPhone for 5 years. So I have 2 questions -
1 - What Android version allows more privacy tools after GrapheneOS, is it still Lineage?
2 - What reasonable brand/model gives wide compatibility?
3 - How much progress has been made in sandboxing Google in other OS's?
Cheers for this community.

Can you explain why my 12Th miner and my 5Th miner have such different difficulty ratings even though running for almost the same time?

I have two miners, one OctAxe and one NerdQAxe++ both connected to the same pool for the same amount of time. Can someone explain why the less powerful miner has such a higher difficulty rating?

No BTC price showing on my Lilygo screen, anyone else ever seen this?

I have been solo mining and pool mining for many years, this is the first time I have ever seen a ZERO price for BTC while actively mining? I rebooted just to see if there was a pool connection issue. Anyone else have experience with this? Cheers.
