Need some help refinishing this wedge.

Restoring my old wedge and I would like to match the finish on the front face of the club. It looks like a really dull brushed satin with little to no gloss. I cant seem to dull the shine enough to get the effect I would like. I am sanding in one direction, gradually going up in sandpaper grit, started at 100 and worked up to 600, was too shiny still so I went back to the 150 and finished it with a green scotch pad. Still comes out too glossy. I am looking for more of a matte look

  1. Is this a completely different finish such as sandblasted or a coating of some sort?
  2. Should I try a finer grit scotch pad to dull it more?

Any advice or info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Swapping chips in LED recessed lights

I am swapping the LED chips in some of the recessed lighting at my job. The issue I am running into is that the chips I take out have this metal film on the back and I realized when I connect the new chip it gets extremely hot and does not have the metal film backing. I was wondering if this is cause for concern.

Need help with my spinning reel please

So when I go to reel in my line, there is a little backwards play in the handle. The anti reverse is on, but I still get a tiny bit of motion in the reverse direction. Maybe about a 1/4-1/8 inch of movement before it stops reversing. I have had and multiple reels when I get them brand new and the handle on the reel will have no play at all and will only move in the correct direction but then over time they start to get the play or wiggle in the handle. My rotor is tight and has no play. It seems like a gear issue because the rotor will reverse the tiny bit simultaneously with the handle. My questions are: Is there a specific name for what is happening so I can try and fix it? Is it a common issue? and am I doing something to cause this in my reels? Or is it just wear and tear? Thanks for the help!

Any ideas why my nails would be growing in like this?

Its happening on every finger, not on my thumbs, definitely no injury, no chemical that I can think of, never had a manicure (obviously lol) just some occasional filing.
