Packing for 2 months in Taiwan will one checked bag be enough?

Hey guys,
I’ve got a trip to Taiwan coming up next January for about two months and I’m trying to figure out my luggage situation.
I’m planning to buy a bunch of clothes before coming at least 10 tracksuits, around 10 shirts and pants, plus 2–3 hoodies. I might end up getting more tracksuits and shirts depending on what I find, so it could be a bit more than that.
Do you think one carry-on + one checked bag would be enough? Or should I plan for more space just in case?
What do you guys think? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Walmart keep cutting my hours ??

Hi folks
I work at Walmart Canada . I was hired before April this year as an overnight associate. For the first week I talked to my overnight coach about getting more shifts and he said that yes, I can get it as long as he has more hours so he ended up giving me 4 days a week and then I would talk every week and after work in there for one week, I decided to get as much as I can so I would get five days a week less than 40 hours which is 37 1/2 an hour. Working overnight it’s pretty much tough. Sometimes we get a lot of stuff coming in and we have to finish all that before. Opening the store at seven in the morning. but anyways, let’s come to the point for the past two weeks after my probation. Period. I noticed it that they have been dropping my hours. It was from five days to four days so I tried to talk to my manager because that’s what I did it that’s what I used to do it to get five days and he told me that the management told her not to give hours to any associate, just give it to New I like prioritize hours for new employees that will be coming in and they brought 3-4 more people for overnight we are currently overstaffed. He told me that once he gave them the schedule he will do whatever he can and then after getting four days a week for two weeks, I noticed that I’m only scheduled three weeks now next week that is like 50% of my schedule being cut off and I tried to bring up again and my manager told me another 2-3 people coming in and I was like we are we have a lot of people why do we need a lot of people you know here is the deal I noticed that everyone else is working four days a week even who started after me even who been working there for a long time I talked to this guy he has been working there for about a year. He said he’s getting full-time hours as a part-time while when I try to talk to my manager, I was only getting four times which is unfair to me. Because I would always stay at the end of my shift even after seven to clean up, I would stay 20 min or three min late. Behind 7 o’clock before clocking out to make sure that everything is good. I would make sure that the cardboard is being taken care of it because people they just don’t care about it. They just leave their stuff. They just leave their cardboard they don’t even label for overstock I did that for three months and I just feel like all I did was hard work and this is what I get from the company. I did apply to be a full-time, but I was too rejected because they told me to gain more experienced and apply again because this is my first stop at Walmart but yeah it just like really really sucks. I don’t know what to do. Is there a way to get my hours back or do something like that I don’t know. I’m just so confused.

Why it’s takin too long to ship?

Hi folks,
I bought something on Mercari through a buyer for around $300 Canadian. It’s been about 10 days, I believe. I purchased it on June 28. It says Buyee was able to buy it, but it’s stuck there; it hasn't shipped yet. I don’t know why it’s taking so long. When I clicked on the seller's profile, it said it would take 2-3 days to ship.

I don’t know what’s going on. ??
I wanted to ask if you have experience like that?
Should I just wait? This is my first time buying something from Japan. Usually, I buy from South Korea or Hong Kong, and I've never had any issues.

Has anyone gotten Taiwan multiple entry visa?

Has anyone here successfully gotten a Taiwan multiple-entry visa recently? I am in Canada, but I’m not a Canadian citizen, but I was able to get 14 days entry visa free because of my Canadian residency
I previously visited Taiwan once using TAC and returned to Canada on time. This time I’m planning to stay longer, visit the Philippines during the trip, then come back to Taiwan again before returning to Canada.
I wanted to ask:
Were you approved for multiple entry or only single entry?
Did you apply from Canada?
Was your visa extendable?
Did you show onward tickets/hotel bookings for another country like the Philippines?
How long was your stay approved for?
Would appreciate hearing your experience. Thanks!

No buses tomorrow??

Hey folks, I hope you're enjoying your weekend. I just wanted to ask if there will be no bus service tomorrow, because I am working tonight and need to take a bus home in the morning. If the bus isn't running, I'll have to take an Uber.

Anyway, have a good night

Does anyone in Orillia know a cheap notary public or place that can attest/certify documents?

As the tittle says I’m opening a bank account from my home country for savings and they need copies of my passport work permit address proof to be attested or certified.

Looking for something affordable around Orillia if needed. Thanks!

▲ 11 r/eSIMs

Hi everyone,
I’ll be staying in Taiwan for about 60 days (mostly cities + some travel) and need reliable mobile data for navigation, streaming, video calls, and general use. I’m looking at eSIMs since I won’t get a local number easily.
I was checking Holafly they have “unlimited” data plans for Taiwan that you can buy for exactly the number of days needed (including 60 days). From what I read, it’s true unlimited high-speed with no daily cap, but there’s a Fair Usage Policy where the local network (Chunghwa?) might throttle speeds temporarily if you go over ~90GB in a calendar month. For normal-to-heavy use, it sounds fine.
Price-wise it seems around $80–90 for 60 days (I’ll confirm on their site). Hotspot/tethering is supported with some limits.
I know Saily has cheaper fixed-data plans with daily high-speed caps (like 3GB/day full speed then throttled). That might not be enough for me over two months.
Questions for those who’ve been there:
Has anyone used Holafly in Taiwan for a long stay? Did you hit the FUP/throttling? How was coverage and speed in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, etc.?
Any real-world daily data usage numbers from travelers/digital nomads?
Better/cheaper alternatives for 60 days? (Local Chunghwa tourist SIMs, other eSIM providers like Airalo/Nomad/ByteSIM, or buying multiple short plans?)
Tips for long-stay eSIM use in Taiwan?
Thanks in advance! Any experiences or recommendations would help a lot.
