I am an HVAC dispatcher - and I need to figure out how I can help drive revenue. Tips?

When we schedule appointments, we get great bonuses - so the incentive is there. But a lot of our appointments are maintenances that do not immediately result in sales. Our technicians give some estimates, then leave. Customers rarely follow up on those estimates.

I want to work on being more of a powerhouse both with scheduling- but also driving customer followup that results in sales.

Trouble is... it IS challenging, and I find myself quite off-put and anxious over the idea of cold calling to ask if they've considered the estimates we gave. It is awkward. There are so many un-interested responses. So many "No's".

Can anybody pep talk me, give me tips, or even script ideas?

Im in such an oddly specific position, and it is hard for me to find sources on how to improve and change my outlook.

What even is this? Some mystical place that no longer exists?

The sign and slogan piqued my curiosity so hard, and when I finally went searching for it - I found nothing. Nothing but hair salons and barbers.

What gives? 🤣

Edit- this is located along the road connected to the Witte Museum garage.

It may be too early to tell, but I was wondering about "The Ban"-

(This post is not to suggest or encourage illegal activity, but rather discuss local views on how our law enforcement will react given past treatment of products)

I only moved down here within the last few years, and was surprised by the relaxed nature of stores selling delta THC products. I also heard that San Antonio specifically decided to be relaxed when it came to possession, and not charging for anything less than an OZ I believe?

Despite the massive ban and talk about 2-year minimum sentence felonies...

Will SA continue choosing to be more forgiving when it comes to possession? 🤔

This city is quite progressive and seems to go against the grain where they can. Just wondering out loud how this will be treated by local law enforcement now.

"Dog bit family member on my property - no medical treatment necessary. Now family member is talking about legal action." Anything to worry about?

Location: Texas.

This happened on the owners property. A week ago, a family member was visiting. While the home owner was upstairs, the family member grabbed the dog by the collar. The dog gave a warning growl (this was observed by another party). The family member ignored the growl, and proceeded to grab the dog by its upper body.

The dog then turned and bit the family members arm. It did break skin.

The family member DID NOT seek medical assistance, as it was unnecessary. No stitches were needed.

A week later during a family get together, this family member casually mentioned "yeah, im looking into some settlement stuff".

No other conversations were had. The home owner promptly left the interraction as to avoid conflict in the moment.

So...

The person bitten was on someone elses property - grabbing a dog without the home owner present. Ignored the warning growl. This was all witnessed by another outside party. He did NOT seek medical treatment, as it was deemed unnecessary. Now he believes he will get a settlement for the bite.

How much does my acquaintance need to worry legally?

Color theory; how can I improve the guns?

Im working on this red/greenish portrait of Clint Eastwood. I think the guns are coming along okay; however, I feel like there needs to be a different color added. Something to make them pop. Is there another color that could add some charm, or should I just create some lighter green tones and keep adding?

Color theory be hard.

Any critique and advice in general is welcome, even outside of the guns.

I messed up lol

About 4 weeks ago, I didnt realize that my pharmacy changed the concentration of my semaglutide. I was taking 68 units at 1.7mg.

I dosed, as usual... got HORRIFICALLY SICK by the next morning. Vomiting, abdominal pains, room spinning. I checked the bottle...

The concentration was changed, and called for only 30 units. I more than doubled that 😭

Im totally fine now. However... now when I go to take my injection, I feel a wave of nausea. Its like my body remembers how sick it made me, and now I dread taking it even though I know it'll be fine.

Just the smell of the alcohol pad makes me want to throw up now, lmao.

I really hope i can train my body out of this immediate disgust response. 🙃🥹

Where can I find retro looking clothes like these, but of higher quality and from a reputable source?

I want to expand my wardrobe with some fun and interesting designs. But everything that I see and like tends to come from advertised companies that put out poor quality items.

Is there a brand that sells items like this that wont fall apart in the wash?

I goofed and didnt erase the pencil lines well enough. I dont know how salvagable this is. What would you do? Should I try putting down some opaque layers to build over it?
