First roll on my new Minolta Hi Matic F

I’ve never shot on film before and this is my first analog camera.

The film is Kodak ColorPlus 200.

The pictures look a bit under exposed, right? Looks like dusk, but the photos of the buildings are taken mid day. Flowers at dusk.

I used a CR1/3N battery and set the ISO to 100 to compensate for the difference in voltage. Should a be closer to 150-200 ISO?

Also, I had a hard time focusing as you can see from the flower pictures. Any tips?

Nikon F75 vs Canon EOS 500N

Hi!

I’m new here. I’ve shot a roll of film on my newly bought Minolta Hi Matic F and I realized I wanted something newer with better image quality, in addition to the Minolta.

Usage:
Travel, nature, portraits. All scenarios really.

I’m able to buy both cameras on the second hand market for about 50-60 dollars with a good (enough) all around lens. A 50mm AF lens is also priced the same for both brands on the marketplace, so I’m planing on picking up that after buying a camera.

From my research it’s hard to distinguish the two models from each others. They seem to be very similar.

Which model would you chose and why?

Thanks

Vintage/antique shops in the city

Hi!

We are visiting Belgrade this summer, so I wanted to hear about second hand/ vintages shops in your city.

We really enjoy going to second had shops to browse for vintage and retro stuff. I’m really into Soviet relics and vintage cameras.

Any shop recommendations or general areas to visit?

Thanks!

Kia Sportage 2013 - off throttle jerking

Can’t figure this out, and I’m going mental!

Kia Sportage 2013 2.0 CRDi automatic

149.000 km / 92.000 miles

The car jerks and tugs when I lift off the throttle. Primarily at lower speeds up to 50 km/h. City and stop-and-go driving. Only happens when I release the accelerator. Then it judders. Not noticeable on motorways or country roads. It’s not very soft and gentle when taking off after a stop.

The following has been done to try to fix it:

Right and lower engine mount,
new automatic transmission fluid,
eco-tune with EGR coded out (suspected the EGR was sticking),
cleaned MAF sensor.

If anything, it got worse after a few weeks with the new engine mounts. One mount remains and that’s the transmission mount. It’s a bit more involved to replace. Will get that done, but I suspect it won’t help.

No unusual noises giving me any hints.

Have suspected slack in the drivetrain, but where?

I’m completely stumped. Have started to fear gearbox/converter trouble, but I can’t find any information confirming that the jerking and juddering I’m experiencing is a clear symptom of that. Drives fine otherwise.

Any suggestions for specific things to check that I haven’t already been through? No fault codes, either stored or active.

Bruktbutikker som selger blueray

Hei!

Inherited gear from my father

I’ve been trying to get into photography a while and my dad gave me his old setup. The camera is a Nikon D3200.

I don’t know much about the technical aspect of photography, but I’m a big art and cinema lover so I’m eager to experiment and express myself through a real camera.

Are the camera and lenses any good? Apart from the obvious zoom lens, what are the usecases for each lens?

Very happy to read any comments and inputs you have.

Thanks!
