Alright FINE, I'll use Lavos...

I have never jived with Lavos. As I've said many times, my brain is too smooth for all them buttons. But gas valence and dual ichor incarnon? Extra crit Cedo, my favorite shotgun?? Yeah, that sounds pretty dang fun.

So… you just walk around?

TL;DR The world is beautiful, but I have no purpose in it. What the heck is the point? What is progress? I want to understand.

I got a code for soul frame pretty early and hopped in. Played a couple days. Pretty, but clumsy and made no sense. I quit. I’ve tried again three-ish times now. Far as I can tell, you just walk around. There are enemies everywhere, and you can fight them, and nothing happens. There is no feedback. No explanation of the drops. No impact on the world. Sometimes a little acorn man can give a little mission. And you do it. And that’s it. Nothing happens. I have no idea what weapons do or what to do with them. Why to invest in the pact stat tree. Armor, trinkets, etc are just there. I have a staff. It throws green balls of pain. Ok. I know I have other weapons, but how do I equip them? Is there anything better? How would I even get the better things? How do I change my stats to courage instead of all spirit? Does that even matter?

I’m having trouble getting this game. I’ve played Warframe for a long time and I know DE does an awful job of introducing players to game content/mechanics. But this… this is completely aimless. Even content creators can’t offer me much. How do yall find direction and get into this?

Edit. Ok so I’m supposed to find bugs and provide feedback. So far, no bugs in the walking. It’s smooth. Same with the running. Expert bi-pedal movement.

Edit 2. I walked around the world for about 3 hours today. Killed a lot of dudes. Stumbled into a siege. For all the things everyone says are in the game, I can’t find it. Idk what magic code or puzzle I’m missing, but this seems to be a walking simulator right now. Maybe I’m dumb.

Balefire Charger can now destroy growths on Hell Scrubbers

Assuming I missed this in a recent update. Balefire Charger can destroy the growths on Hell Scrubbers. It can also break the heat vents in Volatile or "maintain pressure" missions. It has to be a direct hit, not the AOE. But a really nice QOL change.

Are Bulletpoint rails supposed to sit this crooked?

Recently ordered a rail for my 24. The screw plate can’t sit flush in the dash tray. I reached out to Bulletpoint and they said deal with it. I feel like this isn’t right.

Need help arranging and lighting basement office

https://preview.redd.it/x6kesy5idhbh1.png?width=1600&format=png&auto=webp&s=aca7e4914825f597a7fff27837b6fbd2ff80f73b

Tried throwing together my office. Hopefully this works to show what I'm working with. I am struggling with a basement room that is currently my office and hangout space. I really want to make it my own, but I can't even think about decorating when the lighting is so bad and the arrangement just doesn't seem to work for me. The room itself is a really good size, but it has essentially no natural light.

Given the location of the large doorway, I can't really think of a better place for my desk. That said, there is currently a door behind my desk that opens inward. It stays locked as its unnecessary and in they way. I got a large entertainment center with bookshelves for the long wall. I also picked up a cheap dining room set for when I have people over, and the table works for projects (legos, PC work, etc.) too. I also have a mini fridge in the corner by the bookshelves.

I've got a few lamps in corners. I have a task light bar on my monitor and a small desk light. My eyes are so tired after a day of work. Its just not enough light, or not the right kind. I've set everything to a fairly warm light to make it cozy. I just don't know if I need to keep adding more and more lamps?

I'll take any advice on furniture placement and light placement. Even lighting types that would work. Given that it is my home office as well, I don't want to get super gamery with lights, but the space will double as my gaming and social space so I'd like to have a little fun with it.

Need some help finding ear pro for smaller heads. I've been using in ear, but I really don't like the feeling. I ordered a set of Walker Slim Quads, and they are too big. I can't get a good seal around my ears with the headband against the top of the ear cup. The band either hits the cup and is too high, or pushes the cup away from my ear to reach the top of my head. Could someone recommend another brand that adjusts better/smaller?

My logitech mx mechanical died after just over a year of use, so I am trying to replace it. I am trying to find a full-size 104-key keyboard with 2.4g connectivity and a dedicated volume control (knob, wheel), around $100. In the past few weeks, I have tried:

- Aula F75 - realized I really like having a numpad. I keep trying to convince myself I can use a smaller layout, but I really don't know.

- Epomaker QK108 - screen didn't sync properly and I am not adding random software to mess with it. So no screen unless it can be managed through something web-based.

- Keychron V6 max - tried the white color and it's not white, and ultimately, the RGB settings are annoying. Suppose I could just swap it for black, but I am also seeing a lot of negative long-term reviews for Keychron and I don't get the hype.

Don't need RGB, doesn't have to be mechanical. Its for work, not gaming - though maybe some BG3. Whatever I order, I want to ensure I can return easily if I dont like it. Open to any feedback.

First time DMing CoS. I started with vanilla CoS, but transitioned to Reloaded after the party reached Vallaki. I'm having some trouble in late Act 2 as it rolls in to Act 3. My party has successfully restored St. Andrals Church and killed Izek before he was able to kidnap Ireena.

At this point, the party will wake in the morning, and because they have reached level 5, Erasmus is supposed to visit them to start The Lost Soul arc. At the same time, they need to attend the Baron's abdication. Lady Wachter will take over the town as burgomaster. In the evening, the party should visit Lady Wachter to get their reward for killing Izek, but Rahadin also visits the town and invites the party to dinner with Strahd. The dinner doesn't take place until Act 3 (correct?)

If I'm following the pacing outlined in Reloaded, the players get a quick haunt from Erasmus, visit the transfer of power, get in touch with Victor for Stella backstory, rush to old bonegrinder to recover the heartstone, get the Tome, visit Kresk?, then run back to Vallaki to get their reward from Lady Wachter - all in one day. This is just too much.

I could use some help understanding how these events should flow and how to pace it. I feel like it needs to be several days, but unsure how to do the full moon timing, invitation, etc.
