Cider. Commercially available cider.

Plain old Angry Orchard cider.

No the DRINK isn't cursed, but I chose the flair because *I finally got to eat/drink in my dream!*

First time I remember tasting anything in a dream, in either sense of the word.

The dream plot was the frustration this time: Ididn'tget to enjoy it. I opened the bottle at a picnic, found myself driving and hid it in the cupholder under a tshirt. When it started to spill I parked to drink it then got back in my golf cart (I don't golf) and greeted the people in the back seat of my small boat which was like a carnival ride and floated low so you were sitting in water up to your butt and I had to hold my drink to keep it from floating away. And as I woke up it had gotten filled with sea water.

Bartender image export for approvals

How to get an electronic image file of one row in a connected database?

The factory has a system for printing to label stock (Zebra). Part of my job is adding new rows to the database and getting that specific label reviewed & approved. Formerly it's been done by screencapture of a print preview. I want to export it directly. When I tried print to file, the output PRN couldn't be opened by Acrobat.

I don't have access to system coding.

What subreddit knows spray pumps?

Where would I find safety advice for replacing a broken pesticide spray handle? Can I use a dispenser off a different product, etc.

Replacement sprayer-head options

I have a 2/3 full jug of Bioadvanced Capenter ant & termite killer plus. The battery-operated sprayer doesn't work -- when I tried changing the batteries, the compartment wouldn't re-seal.

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement sprayer?

Vintage dyes

I am glad I found this sub. I'm looking for the right people for a box in my possession.

I helped my mother clean out her great-aunt's house. I took home a box of pre-70s dyes, possibly older because AuntC was ancient.

There must be people or museums trying to restore or replicate historic items, right? Or a company that creates safer modern versions of old harsher dyestufffs that could use it for color matching?

No picture unless there's excitement because it's hard to get to.

Ant frustration

4 years ago we replaced the roof and the carpenter ant problem went away. This year they're back in increasing numbers, so I'm going to have to spray the foundation again. I avoid using pesticides because we have a well, but I can't let them damage the house.

I understand it's a hazard of living in the woods but I still hate it.

Raise your hand if you too have yelped on a video call when a carpenter ant THE SIZE OF YOUR BOSS'S HEAD walked across the monitor. Forced perspective worked against me there.

Encouraging native plants at local nurseries

I've been frustrated at how few natives are available at local nurseries. Today I had an idea. I *called* my favorite town nursery --they actually do usually have some correctly identified native plants for sale.

I asked if they had a specific flowering shrub and got chatty--I hoped they had it because I hate doing mail order, some cool info about New Jersey Tea, how pretty it was when there was a bank of it at my college, and gee did they know the town has a new pollinator pathway club who might be a built-in market, plus the "kids" seem to be interested in natives, so maybe it would be worth having a small section of native plants...

I've been asking them for showy natives in person when I learned of something new. So they've now heard of New Jersey Tea (aka redroot), Sunchokes, Eastern Redbud, Monarda (aka Bee Balm), Solomon's Seal and Gayfeather....

I figure if enough requests come in to "regular" nurseries, they might be encouraged to at least TRY stocking some natives!

Is this Eastern daisy fleabane?

US Northeast, Central Connecticut. Plantnet suggests fleabane but it doesn't seem to match. I'd be happy with another flowering native... I'll mow non-natives.

Diner-grill cinnamon rolls

All the travel troubles of the dream faded in relief when I saw cinnamon rolls laid out to cook on a classic flat-top griddle.

Unrealized even in the dream -- as I decided to order one I woke up.

Bluetooth headset that can switch between 2 devices

I need noise canceling headphones because of an open office. I'd like to be able to play my background music for concentration but switch same headset to my work laptop on the rare occasion when a call comes in.

I suspect this is just how Bluetooth is intended to work ... but I can hope.

I just burned my soup. I ate dinner early, turned down the temperature, and went off to do things while it thickened.

Only I didn't turn it down far enough to forget about it for 3 hours. At least it was a "freezer cleanout" soup so it was frezer-burned chicken that many people would have discarded already.
