Has there been bootleg releases of A Kick In The Head?

I am trying to complete my Bee Gees collection. Has anyone ever made a CD of the Kick In The Head album, and be willing to sell it?

On another note, I think the album is great. I'm very surprised it got canned over Life In A Tin Can, which I think is far inferior. It has way more variety overall, and the entire album feels very unique to me. It touches on many styles. I feel like Elisa and Wouldn't I Be Someone are already better than entire Tin Can album. But Harry's Gate, Losers and Lovers, Castle In The Air are all great.

Also, is Dear Mr. Kissinger the only time The Bee Gees did anything overtly political? I wish they did more tracks like that. I love the High Civilization cut with speeches in-between

Based on what is known about The Bee Gees do you think they would’ve booted Alan if Vince had decided he wanted to rejoin?

Do you think they’d consider since Vince was there at their mainstream inception that he’d earn the spot over Alan. Since they fired Alan abruptly during Living Eyes it leads me to guess they could’ve done it again, earlier as well. Though I wonder if they thought that Vince couldn’t match his contributions to their most successful period.

I know he left voluntarily and it seemed like they were all good terms. I’d be curious to hear how Vince would’ve added to their disco period. I do think he’s a much more creative player than Alan. His riff on the 3rd verse of Birdie Told Me is incredibly unique and creative. He always knew how to play just enough and not steal spotlight away from their voices. I like Alan but his contributions and phrases always seemed like pretty standard lead guitarist stuff that most people could come up with and play. I feel like his lines weren’t ever all that creative, not compared to Vince.

Did Brian get plastic surgery on his face after the 80s

I don’t mean to be rude or offensive in any way, I’m just very fascinated, as well as scared, of aging, and have always wondered why Brian’s eyes looked so drastically different from the 80s onward. His always looked squinted but in the 80s he looked like a completely different person with his eyes being naturally wider. It really throws me off. I know he lost weight, but I don’t know if that’d be it because his eyes were squinted when he was skinnier in the 60s. Was it just a result of natural aging and facial changes?

I’m surprised I’ve never heard any Brian clone theories like Paul. For me 90s Brian looks nothing like 60s and 70s Brian

What is the Thump joke?

Is it just when Brian was fat in the 70s? Was it a term that was used by fans back then or is it just a Gen-Z thing that’s come from the resurgence in popularity for the beach boys? Is it only a Reddit thing or does it expand beyond the internet?

Why did Bruce leave after Surf’s Up?

Was he fired? His absence was noticeable in my opinion and I think he would fit well with the blondie lineup. I hear a lot of people say they think he would’ve been out of place with the new direction but I disagree. He always acclimated well to their changes, he did witness Smile after all.

Does anyone have bob’s isolated guitar on unsatisfied?

I love his lead, what I can hear of it, but it easily is drowned out by the 12 string, drums, bass and slide guitar. I wish his lead was more prominent in the mix because it sounds so good. Does anyone have it isolated since that’s easy to do now?

What is the bee thousand or alien lanes of bob’s solo albums?

I wanted to get into bob’s solo stuff and I know I could do it chronologically but I’d like to start with just an iconic listen. Does he have an album that’s considered to be his best that any of you would recommend?

What is this worm on my hand after I used the bathroom

I saw it on my hand after I wiped but before I washed my hands. Is this something to be concerned about. I have OCD so this was not the way to start the day so I’d really appreciate any serious input or necessary advice to either put my mind at ease or direct me to the correct level of concern

Were the five BOTT songs from the New York outtakes the only recordings Bob ever did in an open tuning?

I've recently started to learn those BOTT on the tracks songs in open e and it's such a fun way to play them. Was that the only time Bob ever used an open tuning, and does Dylan Chords have some of his other famous songs transcribed into open tunings?

Did he ever play in open tuning while on tour as well?

[TOMT] Asian movie about a man who follows a woman with a camera, non-horror

Somebody I follow on Letterboxd watched this Asian movie; the plot was something along the lines of a guy following a woman around with a camera after some event in her life. I don’t remember too well. It certainly wasn’t horror but it may have been romance. It was very artsy based on the image. The frame was of him standing very close to her in the rain, they were both wearing rain jackets. I think one was red and one was blue.

I forgot to add it to my watchlist and can’t find the user anymore, I follow mostly randos on Letterboxd so I can’t figure out who it was.

I always assumed it was slang for some drug since it precedes blotter. I can’t find anything online except from one weird site saying it was slang for fentanyl. Is it just a Malkmus term or is it drug lingo?
