If we remain silent today, the development gap will only grow and Eastern UP could eventually face the same kind of economic backwardness that Bihar has struggled with.

Major development projects—new airports, planned cities, industrial corridors, and regional development zones—seem to be concentrated mainly in Central and Western UP. Even Bundelkhand is receiving attention through new planned-city initiatives, while Eastern UP continues to lag behind.

Why is the UP government not focusing enough on Eastern Uttar Pradesh, despite the region consistently contributing its votes to the same government?

We cannot afford to remain silent. If we want better infrastructure, more industries, quality jobs, and balanced regional development, we need to raise our voice and demand our fair share of investment.

Eastern UP has the people, talent, resources, and potential. What we need is sustained government attention and serious development.

It’s time for Eastern UP to speak up. Development should not be concentrated in a few regions—it should reach every part of Uttar Pradesh.

Why does the economic and industrial disparity between Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh continue to exist?

What policies and initiatives has the government implemented to reduce this regional imbalance?

What major industrial, infrastructure, or investment projects are planned that could transform Eastern Uttar Pradesh?

Despite raising these important public policy questions, I have not received any replies.

My concern is broader than just the RTI responses. Since 2017, Eastern Uttar Pradesh has seen significant improvements in infrastructure, including better highways, expressways, and a more reliable electricity supply. With these basic enablers now in place, the next critical step is industrial development and large-scale job creation.

What are the most effective constitutional, legal, and democratic ways to draw the government's attention to this issue and encourage it to prioritize industrial development in Eastern Uttar Pradesh?

How can citizens collectively persuade policymakers to formulate and implement policies that attract industries and reduce the long-standing regional disparity between Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh?

i am a Student of the SCAT department at Galgotias University. This post is about my perspective and what I have experienced till now in university.

-The facility and exposure totally depend on the school (think of different branches in a university). The SCSE department and SCAT both teach the computer science but the exposure is much better in SCSE department

-SCSE has dedicated elite branches for coding and DSA classes SCSE conducted an exam for elite section creation and taught them with top-notch facilities. The whole AIDS block is reserve for BTech which is the part of SCSE department The other courses like BCA, BSc, etc., dont get same attention like that

-The infrastructure is Good but only focuses on Theory rather than practical-based learning.

The clubs and fests are some of the best in North india.

-Attendance is the first priority for the university so they can suck money
