Hello all. My 5 year old cat, Hershey, started limping about a month and a half ago. I already took him for an X ray and there were no signs of a fracture…. The limping has improved some but still hasn’t gone away. Some days it’s barely noticeable, other days it’s worse.
The next step is for him to have a CT scan to check the soft tissues. Unfortunately, most places near us are asking for $3500+ which is far outside what I’m able to pay right now, even on monthly payments…. I’d like to know if anyone can recommend a place in the Bay or beyond that does imaging services for a more affordable price? I’m willing to travel maybe up to 6 hours one way for a better price….
Dog was smallish and very excitable. Running around barking rolling on the grass etc. but wouldn’t get super close to us. No collar and not a soul around…just posting in case this is someone’s lost pet
My neighbors made me this homemade syrup and gifted it to me around Christmas time. Problem is I can’t remember if it was last Christmas or the year before 😅 it was in a “sealed” mini mason jar type thing. Just opened it up (I recently bought a box of frozen waffles - not something I normally eat) and it looks like this…. Half of it is still normal syrup consistency, the other half is more solid and lumpy looking???
Hello all. I’m posting here on behalf of a family member who lives in Hayward and has fallen on hard times.
They are jobless and actively looking for employment, but they don’t have a vehicle. They are completely broke with zero money and are in the negative due to overdraft the last time they bought food. They live very close to the university so I recommended they call and ask some different places on campus if they are hiring, but so far no luck.
They have zero money for food and no reasonable way to get to a food bank because they have no vehicle and no money for Uber or bus. I sent what little money I could spare before they informed me they were in the negative/overdraft so the payment went directly into covering part of the overdraft.
I’m reaching out to ask if anyone has any leads for a job opportunity near the university or any idea of a place to get a free meal within walking distance
