Thoughts on TRT at 24?

Hi Guys,

Recently got my blood work done. I’m a 24 (M) and really been feeling the effects of low T for over two years now. Free T is around 0.262. I weight train, eat healthy, run and have a good lifestyle overall but nothing seems to be working. I’m consulting my doctor currently about either clomid or TRT. I have attached my labs below:

Life advice?

Hi Guys,

I want to keep this vague as possible. I’m 24 (M) live in the Uk and out of university nearly two years now. I’m in a job that demands a lot (around the clock work) I have a small group of friends that I see on the weekend as well. However recently I feel like all I do is go to work and come home- i genuinely have never felt more depressed in my life. I don’t have time to really do anything else bar gym and work during the weekdays. I justify it to myself by saying hard work and working all the time will make me rich/ more money but I have never felt more unhappier in my life. This is not a sympathy post or anything- I just feel I need to get it off my chest. I know getting to a financially stable and well off point takes sacrifices but I can’t help thing all I’m doing is working and almost wasting my life away. Any advice?

Ironman Training Advice

Hi Guys,

So I’m looking to start my training now for a half iron man next April and then a Full iron man next August. Does anyone have any tips? I want to keep my muscle and balance my lifting along with the training but I know how hard this can be. Is it even viable to keep weight lifting and also training for an iron man?

HMRC taxing ISA

I’m sorry but in the UK we pay a lot of tax as it is but HMRC now taxing ISA’s at 22% from April 2027 is an absolute joke. Genuinely what is the point in this, such a joke

Future for the younger generation?

Hi Guys,

Looking for some input/perspective. I am a 24M, I went over to England for university and ended up staying after (been in England for 5 years) I recently had an incline to move back over here permanently to be closer to family and due to slight home sickness. However, I’m currently home for over a week (visiting) and can’t help but think there is nothing much here anymore for people my age. I love home and its great but I feel ever since coming back and visiting more often I can’t help but feel that there is less opportunity’s when it comes to jobs, socialising and overall things to do. I find it almost sad that the fact so many people my age feel like they have to emigrate somewhere else to set up their life. I really love and miss home and would love to raise a family here but it doesn’t seem feasible currently. Interested to hear others perspectives/opinions. One thing as well that I have always pondered on is, was it the troubles that may have impacted job opportunities, growth and other investments here? Would more previous financial investments/job opportunities here, have kept people from leaving?

Non competes- recruitment

Hi guys,

What is the deal with non competes within UK recruitment agencies? Are they enforceable? Currently have one that is broad when it comes to wording and I am changing my industry/market. It’s 3 months long

Any thoughts ?

What should I do- new job

Hi guys,

Looking forward some advice. I want to keep this vague for the minute. I accepted a new offer for a new job and will be handing my notice in Friday.

To cut a long story short the environment is toxic (mostly because of my boss) himself and I don’t see eye to eye and there is not much dialogue in the office between us at all. My concern is once I start the new job I wouldn’t put it past him to contact my new employer and almost bad mouth me or ridicule me. Obviously people can talk, no problem at all but is there anything in relation to your old boss contacting your new one and bad mouthing you?

Also when I put my notice in I particularly don’t want to go into too much detail on why I’m leaving. Any advice on that also?

Cheers guys in advance

Any advice?

Hi guys,

Looking for some advice. So I am in my first corporate sales job out of uni (been here nearly 2 years) in my first year it was difficult but I did decent. This year I was off to a flying start and had 2 months where I didn’t hit quota (deals falling through last minute and my fault for not managing pipeline as best as I can) I have now been put on PIP. To be honest I am looking out as the culture has become very toxic and it seems to be a revolving door/ boiler room agency. There is things going on in the office that shouldn’t be and my MD and myself don’t get on due to this. As well there is another rep who is on PIP who is doing better than me.

In relation to this, I have heard PIP is basically the legal way for them to get you out of the door. However, with that said I am looking to leave due to the culture. Should I wait till the end of PIP or hand my notice in? As I have a 3 month non compete and would like to stay in the industry. I also am in the process of finding a new place to move into soon. So not too sure what I should do.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks
