pre workout and reta, anyone mixing both

been lifting consistently alongside reta for six months and recently started using a pre workout again after a long break from it. noticed the stimulant effect hits noticeably harder than it used to. not in a bad way but definitely different. wondering if the slower gastric emptying is affecting absorption or if something else is going on. anyone else noticed their tolerance to stimulants changing on reta

I almost went into hypoglycemia just from running a small dose of Reta and Mots C together

I have been taking 3mg of Reta a week and decided to add 2mg of Mots-C a day. It is not a huge dose for either of them, but after five days, things got really bad. I kept waking up in the middle of the night feeling completely fried, foggy, and super lightheaded. I checked my glucose monitor and my blood sugar was going way too low, almost hitting hypoglycemia.

I completely stopped the Mots-C and within 24 hours my levels went right back to normal. My energy came back and the bad side effects went away entirely. I did not change a single other thing, so I am sure it was the combination of the two. Has anyone else had their blood sugar crash this hard when adding Mots-C to a Reta cycle?

Cousin asking me some really dumb questions during family dinner

So for context, she asked me if I was going to be on these “drugs” that’s the word she used.I know that its a chronic condition, and Im treating it. She probably wouldnt think twice if I said "yes" to staying on blood pressure medication forever. Im learning to be proud of my answer, but the looks I get still sting sometimes. Idk how to handle it tbh
