We closed a $5,000 client from a social media post. Are we doing good?

We run a small software development firm based in Vancouver and getting leads through social media was honestly difficult for us.

We didn't have the budget to hire a marketer, and I didn't have the time to create and publish content every single day.

So we achieved it with automation

The biggest change was consistency.

Instead of posting whenever we had time, the workflow helped us create and publish useful posts every day around the problems we solve and the work we do.

At first, nothing crazy happened.

Then the leads started coming in.

One person reached out after seeing our posts. We had a few conversations, understood their requirements, and eventually closed a $5,000 project.

The post wasn't viral.

How are you guys managing the outreach with limited resources?

Working on a side project for my office to embed everyday tools right inside Clio so people can stop switching tabs. Thoughts?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently interning at a small 5 person law firm, and since I'm the one who handles most of the tech stuff around here, I’ve been watching how everyone in the office uses Clio every day.

One thing I notice constantly is just how messy their computer screens get. They are always jumping back and forth between ten different tabs ,one for our phone system, one for checking document signatures, another for the client calendar, and then Clio itself. Because of all this bouncing around, people constantly forget to start the Clio timer for quick tasks, like a fast 3 minute phone call or an email reply. It seems like they end up losing a lot of trackable time just because it's a hassle to keep switching back to the Clio tab to hit start.

will it be cool to bring all inside the single clio tab for all the so people can track time with the default time isntead of using any third party tool

any feedback ?

Small recruitment agencies: how do you manage candidate applications and follow ups without things falling through the cracks?

Hi everyone,

I run a small recruitment agency and we're trying to improve our workflow.

Right now, candidates typically fill out a Google Form, and then someone on our team manually copies their details into a spreadsheet. After that, most communication happens through WhatsApp, phone calls, and sometimes email.

The problem is that as candidate volume grows, it's becoming harder to keep track of things: Who has been contacted,Who replied,Who needs a follow-up,Which candidates have gone silent,What stage each candidate is in

Sometimes information ends up spread across Google Forms, Sheets, WhatsApp chats, and email threads, which makes it easy for things to get missed.

I'm curious how other small recruitment agencies handle this.
