Every so often tumblr users will make unofficial contests on who’s the sexiest with different themes. Subject Delta got added into a Sexy Masked Men contest and I want to try and help him get as far as possible.
He won his first round, but it was a hard fight against another fairly obscure character. Next round gets revealed on Monday. Fans have this weekend to rally the troops and make propaganda pieces.
I think our man Delta deserves some wins and it would be very funny for an older game fanbase to rise like a phoenix while the bigger fandoms slumber unaware in their hubris.
Delta got more votes in his battle than Darth Vader did in his (thankfully separate) poll so I think we have a chance to be REALLY REALLY funny about this.

Went to the zoo with my baby and saw an orangutan with a 2 month old baby close to the glass.
I lifted my baby up and held them flipped around so they could see better, and I swear to god this momma orangutan gave me the most bombastic side eye and repositioned her baby to a more superior snuggly hold while walking off to another family that was holding their baby PROPERLY. She gestured back at me like she was gossiping with the other mom about my inferior baby holding skills.

The entire conceit of Bioshock 1 & 2 is that actions have consequence and your choices matter. What rocketed Bioshock up to iconic status was it was the first to really play with what you have control over (WYK) and what your own free will can change (multiple ending).
A movie is locked into one ending. A traditional tv show is too.
But a STREAMING tv show?
Picture this: you get to the end of the episode first episode where there’s a cinematic fight with a Big Daddy and our hero wins. Then the episode pauses instead of automatically playing the next episode and it asks you to ”SAVE” or “HARVEST”
Depending on what you choose a different episode plays. You are in control over how this story plays out. (Edit: FOR YOUR OWN VIEWING EXPERIENCE THIS ISNT A VOTE FOR EVERYONE ELSE. ALL THE EPISODES ARE FILMED THIS JUST CHOSES WHICH ONE IS SHOWN TO YOU.) But no matter which route you pick, there will be one episode where both paths lead to the same place. Joining, and then diverging again.
Part of the story is controlled, part of the story is choice. What will you do with it?

For the best story who do you think Songbird is?
A. Another Booker. This gives a Trinity angle to Comstock, Booker, and Songbird which fits in with Infinite’s theme of christofascism. It also works with Comstock’s ego- who better to protect his daughter than him?
B. Johnny Topside. This ties into Bioshock’s “the big daddies are all used to be men who didn’t deserve this“ theme. It also explains why Booker can never beat him. Delta would never lose to Booker in any dimension. Songbird had to die once he came to Rapture, not just due to the ocean but because both version of him was alive in that dimension. It makes the tragedy of Songbird hit harder- we know Delta and we can only wish he’d been freed like our Delta had been. Here he died still trapped but still loving his daughter till the end.
C. Some guy. Songbird has no lore, Songbird needs no lore.

Hello Legal folks! I don’t have access to the tools needed to search for this specific case and was wondering if someone could help out.
In college I took a class about fiction’s impact on USA laws. The professor mentioned a case that intrigued me and I’ve never been able to hunt it down to confirm the particulars.
This was during the airing of the original series of Star Trek. A couple were having a contentious divorce, and in particular were having a nasty fight over custody of the children. The father snooped and found a “slash zine” featuring Spock having gay sex with Kirk. Slash zines for those unaware were handmade small run magazines that featured fan made materials of Star Trek the original series. At the time there were no other series covered as this was invented by Star Trek fans.
The father successfully argued the mother was sexually deviant to possess such a thing and thus a danger to the children. The mother lost all custody.
I do not recall which state or the exact year, only that the judge had to have the concept of basically everything explained to him. I believe there were multiple children. I also think the father snooped after they were already separated and did not have authorization to be in her bedroom but this ultimately had no effect.
If anyone could help me find the court case or any research papers discussing it that would be a big help!

Sorry for the stupid question but Google is being absolutely useless. I have a 2000 square-foot home that is currently having its roof redone. They started at 7 AM. The foreman said that they would be done in one day. Does that mean that they’ll be done by 6 PM, 7 PM? How late will they be working? I’d ask the guys that are currently here but none of them speak English.
I just need to know because I have a baby and I’d like to know if I can put him down for his usual sleep or if I’m going to have to brace myself for him being awake past his usual bedtime and losing his gourd. If they’ll be here past seven I should start adjusting his feeding schedules right now to make it easier.
