Sign na ba, Lord? 😂

Kaka-joke ko ng “Sa dami ng bayarin, gusto ko na lang maging bayaran”… ayun, may nag-offer. 😭

May nag-PM: “Hi pwede kita help sa debt mo" akala ko naman magpapa utang or offer ng work. HAHAHAHA

Ako: Lord, joke lang po. 😭

Tapos may conditions.
₱50K kapalit ng… VC content. 🫠

Lord, ang bilis naman ng manifestation. Hindi ko po sinabing ganitong klaseng bayaran! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Akala ko financial breakthrough.
Character development pala. 😭

Kaya ko pa bang bayaran ang ₱600K na utang ko nang marangal, o ito na ba ang plot twist ng buhay ko? 😂

Dilim at patalim? Pass muna. Magbabayad muna ako ng bills. HAHAHAHAHA

Is this common in Indian work culture, or is it just my coworker?

I’ve been working as a Scheduler for almost a year now. There are other Schedulers on our team—I’m the only Filipino, and the rest are Indian.

One of them is my work buddy. We actually get along well. We joke around, chat, and he’s generally a nice person. But when it comes to work… that’s where my frustration starts.

We share responsibilities for one big LOB, but he also has another small but new LOB that’s assigned exclusively to him. Because of that, you’d think I’d be handling more of the shared tasks since I’m responsible for most of the headcount in our shared LOB.

Instead, it feels like he wants to keep ownership of almost everything.

I don’t know if it’s because he’s been here much longer than I have or if he’s afraid of losing his importance within the team. Maybe I’m just overthinking it, but that’s honestly how it feels.

What frustrates me the most isn’t even the workload—it’s the lack of planning.

We’ll agree on who does what for the day. I like organizing my work and planning my schedule hour by hour. Once I finish my assigned tasks, I expect my day to be done unless something urgent comes up.

But almost every time, he’ll suddenly message me near the end of my shift saying he couldn’t finish another task and asking me to help because he’s overwhelmed.

If I had known about that task from the beginning, I could’ve planned my day around it and finished it much earlier.

Instead, I’m expected to stay past my shift to complete work that wasn’t even assigned to me initially. We don’t get paid overtime, so I’m basically working for free.

Another thing that bothers me is that we have some very time-consuming tasks that are supposed to be shared so we can finish them faster. But somehow, management only seems to recognize him for those tasks, even though we’re both working on them.

Today’s situation really pushed me over the edge.
Our manager assigned me a task and specifically said that it could be completed tomorrow. Since I was already at the end of my shift, I planned to do exactly that.

But my coworker kept insisting that I finish it today, even though I was already supposed to clock out. Our manager had literally said it wasn’t urgent and could wait until tomorrow, but he still pressured me to get it done before I left.

At that moment, I couldn’t help but think, “Are you my coworker or my manager?”

To make things even weirder, we’re the same role and the same level, yet he constantly checks what I’m doing, monitors my tasks, and sometimes acts like he has authority over my workload.

At this point, I’m honestly exhausted. It’s not even the amount of work anymore—it’s the constant feeling that I can’t properly plan my day because tasks keep getting dumped on me at the last minute or I’m being pressured to follow my coworker’s priorities instead of my manager’s.

Has anyone else dealt with a coworker like this? Am I overreacting, or is this something I should bring up to my manager? Btw, the manager is also an Indian.

Atome Credit Card - Non stop call & Text

30+ calls, 10 Viber messages, 5 emails and 15 text messages. YOU'RE SO ANNOYING AT ATOME. This is the first time I've delayed my credit card payment with you. Just to note, I've been using the ATOME CC FOR 2 years already + it's only 1 day of delay and you keep calling and texting non-stop. GOODNESS, YOU'RE THE WORST. NEVER AGAIN.
