What Actually Got Me UGC Clients (Not Just More Content)

More posting ≠ more clients. What actually worked for me:
Niche down. “UGC for skincare brands” beats “UGC creator.”

Curate your portfolio. 4-6 strong clips, organized by type, beats a messy folder of everything.

Have a real rate card. Price per deliverable (raw vs. edited, +usage rights, +rush) — not vibes.

Warm up before pitching. Engage with a brand for a week before you DM. It lands better than cold outreach.

Follow up once. Most of my replies came from a single follow-up 4-5 days later, not the first message.

commercial flat roof thermal moisture hooks pull massive response on LinkedIn

commercial roofing membrane suppliers struggle to get building owners to care about flat roof maintenance until a leak ruins expensive office inventory. last month i pitched a commercial roofing manufacturer on a thermal camera video hook.
i filmed a handheld thermal camera scanning a flat commercial roof after sunset. on thermal vision, trapped moisture under the roofing membrane glows dark blue due to evaporative cooling, revealing a massive hidden leak pocket invisible to the naked eye. the roofing brand uses the 10-second thermal clip on LinkedIn targeting facility managers. sold the raw video package for $1,600.
