Apparently this is the last solo Brent Hinds recorded
Rippin. I’m assuming it’s the one that starts around 4:28.
Edit: last solo that WE KNOW OF. Banker guitars posted about it on their Instagram.

I did a double take once those vocals kicked in haha. They are fully welcome as long as I’m concerned
Also the intro reminds me of 10,000 Years by High On Fire. Great song. I take it Mike Scheidt hates organized religion.
This album is not bad by any means, but the carpets do not match the drapes.
His vocal ability is severely overshadowed by his phenomenal guitar skills. By God, the guy can sing on top of it all…
This is a band from NY that I know of through a mutual friend. From what I know it’s 2 brothers playing guitar, bass and vocals and a drummer. They are HUGE Mastodon fans, their live shows look crazy, and I happen to think they’re genuinely talented. Give it a listen. These guys are part of the new generation of metal heads.
P.s. sorry mods if this isn’t allowed, I JUST decided to listen to these guys after being told about them for years and genuinely enjoyed the music.
Although, I will say, my picking hand still seems to be in a weird form. Maybe it’s a “whatever works” situation (i.e. Marty Friedman, Steve Morse, all the other “weird” pickers). Any advice appreciated, always looking for tips and tricks.
