Fellow KLR Rider at Stoplight

I met a fellow KLR Rider at a stoplight here in Cullman. I should have gotten his number. That is the second adventure bike I've run into in about 2 weeks here.

Passing a Tractor

Went for a ride in the country - my excitement for the day was passing a tractor ... 😆 But it was a beautiful ride nonetheless.

Road out from Flint Creek OHV Park (trails for dirt bikes and ATVs) in Alabama - this was on the way back.

It was too late in the day to hit the trails as it had taken me a while to find this place. The main road in/out (dirt with gravel scattered on top) required a dirt bike (my KLR did just fine) - between all the loose gravel, ruts in the road, and in some places drop-offs on the side, it was interesting.

I would have gone faster, but at times pickup trucks would be coming the other way, and they took up most of the road.

This was my first drone - while it's several generations old now, it's an amazing and very capable aircraft. Near the end of the video, I flew her out 3 km to an island (that part is sped up because it takes so long).

This was my experimentation and learning when I first got my Mini 3 Pro - this video is a compilation of various cars that the Mini 3 Pro tracked and followed. My current drone is a Mavic 3 Pro but the Mini 3 Pro (several generations old) is still extremely impressive.

At the 14-15 second mark, the camera pans to the front (this is done with the editing process).

PNWMike62 asked for info on how I mount the Insta360 X5 video camera to my helmet for the KLR videos - see the four images. I got some criticism from a couple of people because they think my vision is blocked - it's not. There are other helmet mounts and other ways of setting up the video camera - for me this works.

Here's the Amazon link. If you look at it, they show a way to mount the video camera laterally (instead of vertically how I do it) but that mounting hardware was not included in the package.
