how do i go about asking to work during term
time? i received my results yesterday and i’m off to a university 5 hours away! Is the likelihood of them agreeing high? I’ve been a colleague for just under two years.

this is so random but genuinely i am quite a calm person and i’m quiet but recently customers have been getting on my nerves!! so yes i am snapping back if you make a rude comment and whats with the old white men STARING me down.. pervs. idk how people keep their cool because why am i a 17 year old girl being sworn at by people 4x the age of me for no reason (like fr im just stood at the till with a smile) and im just supposed to take it??? i don’t understand im just thankful this is a part time job and i will not be in retail for the rest of my life i pray for my colleagues genuinely
just needed to rant because wtf are m&s customers..
it’s really not hard to just smile and get on with your day .. i match the energy of the customer. be rude and expect to get rude back🥰🥰🥰

So my results day is next week, and depending on how I do I’ll either be moving away for uni or going to a local uni, which means I could stay working at my M&S.
I was just wondering, if I tell my manager next week that I’d like to transfer stores, is that too short notice? And if there isn’t a transfer available, how does it work? Would I just have to leave my current M&S, or is it possible to work during term time/holidays instead?
Has anyone been through the transfer process and can explain how it works? Thanks! :)

Basically my school has just emailed about results day and how we arnt allowed to leave until they have a uni/apprenticeship/ our outcome written down.. also they have booked 2 rooms as ‘clearing rooms’.
i’m a bit stressed out because my plan was grab my results run to the car open and go through clearing at home with family. surely they can’t keep me at school?

this is so random but basically say if i buy the cheapest seat and im the only one / the cinema is dead can i move to a seat futher back or would a staff member come in and id be in trouble? i wanted to watch the mj movie and the recent few shows have been cancelled as no one is booking so i presume if i go ill be the only one in the cinema😭

anyone else’s last exam tmr and they just cba like i just wanna get it over with im so excited for summer i don’t think it would affect me in any way if the exam went bad because ill know im FREEEEE from alevels and this shitty sixth form

basically in paper 1 and 2 i think i did mid like im talking 15-18 averaging per essay however in paper 3 ive had a while to revise it therefore i feel pretty confident hope i can average around 25 would this look weird to an exam board me sky rocketing idk maybe im deeping it to much 😭😭
