i am in Cherrapunji and Shillong currently. Will be coming home to BLR tomorrow. I am planning to get myself a bottle of Cherrapunji Gin. Does someone want another bottle? I am getting it for 3k. I went to buy milk from a bakery today. Usually get my groceries from Smart Bazaar or dmart. I took an ordinary Nandini milk packet (the blue one), pay the amount written on the packet (Rs 24) via Google Pay. I turn to leave the shop. He calls me and says it is Rs 25. I show him the packet. He says it is still 25. I asked whether he knows what MRP stands for? He says he doesn't care. I tell him that something called consumer court exists and I don't mind taking him for a ride. There were 10 other people who had milk packets in their hand

Does this happen in every shop or is it just a local thing I saw?
PS. I know, it is one rupee. But it is within my rights to pay nothing more than the printed MRP.
I was riding my bike from Kadubeesanahalli to Kundalahalli yesterday. Made a mistake of riding in my flip-flops. Was on the Marathahalli bridge for at least half an hour. At some point, the green light came on. While moving forward, my right flip flop came off. I may have gone some 10 meters before I understood the missing case of flip-flop. I came to a stop. I see someone in his late 60s walking towards me, flip-flop in hand. He says, "neevu idi maretiddiri ends nanu yosiside". I thank him. I drop him to his house and go back home.

I have been offered a fully furnished 2 bhk (1270 sq ft) at 90L. It is a B khata flat without an OC, on a A khata flat. Should i go for it? I saw the interiors, tastefully done, but B khata. What is the procedure to change it to A khata? Is it possible to change it to A khata?

I have an Acer Nitro 5 (2020) model with 512 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD, with 64 GB RAM. It was used for my PhD work. The model is before the series got better heat venting systems. I have original adapter and laptop. No issues with the screen. Used with extreme care. I am planning to do a giveaway for anyone who needs it desperately for their studies. I would prefer someone who is completing their senior secondary school or undergraduate course. I will clean the laptop and format it fresh.
