Two years "clean". Then i got AMS2....

Just a bit tongue in cheek, but with a serious note.
A little over 2 years ago i sold all my race and flightsim gear as i did not enjoy all the equipment and feeling of invested money as well as to break addictive behavior.
Since then, i raced and flew on an xbox controller and still had a blast while working on myself.
I raced way less, broke the addiction, started a solid workout pattern, lost weight, got in shape both mentally and physically. all very positive i may say.
Still enjoyed AC, ACC, LMU and DCS, just in a healthier manner, and way-way less hours put in.

Now, a few weeks ago, i made a mistake ( /s ). I got AMS 2...

I honestly cannot remember the last time i had so much fun in a race sim. Specially the early 2000's content of Endurance, Indy and F1, as well an old stuff. Basically, AC but with integrated mods and usable AI.
And it really has made me crave for that immersive feeling for a wheel again like no other game has done.
And ofc right than there is a pretty good sale on a Moza r3......

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand i am back baby!!!! But this time healthy, both physically and mentally and i am so excited to fully start enjoying the hobby again. It may sound cheesy, but gaming just is so much better when feeling good about oneself.

Happy racing!

WotH 1 for 6 or WotH 2 for 30?

Hey all,
New to this series but not to hunting games. Would love to hear some feedback on which one i should pick up.
I know i could buy both, but the problem is i have time to play one game, not two.

For the sequal the draw is the dog for sure, but EA and less content /bugs is a worry. I do like the prospect of a continued devellopment.

Which one would you all recommend? Hop on the latest one or play the first one?

What just happened? Pull-up

Hey all,
Today i had a weird thing happen, and i'd like to ask for some insight.

I have since 1.5 years been working out and worked up to 12 full rom pull ups. And those feel very good. Both normal, wide and all that fun stuff.

I usually start in a full deadhang and pull trough the capular engagement to high chest. All very smooth.

However today we had some fun with family that was visiting playing around on the bar and then it happened.

When i wanted to pull, from L-sit, something i usually do not do on a first pull, instead of the shoulders packing and schapula engaging, both shoulders sounded like a bag of popcorn and i hardly moved.
Relaxed, and got my feet below me as usual, new fully engage pull, and i could not engage my scapula, at all, i could not pull up and more popcorn from the shoulders and weird movement.

I decided to stop right away after that. And when trying 1-2 hrs later, i could not even get into the capular protraction from deadhang to start my pull.

If i jumped up and started from the top and not went all the way down to deadhang it would work, but arms doing most work.

I tried inverted rows, those were fine and so are all push exersizes. But my pull-ups are broken....
Weird feeling, but not painfull.

What could i have messed up in my L-sit pull-up?

Sidenote, we went to a climbing park yesterday, but it was mostly ziplines and rope ladders.

For now i plan to just rest my shoulders and hope to try again in a few days and really hope i will be back to normal.

Viper days were great back then

Having so much fun. And so nice to be back in a Viper without the massive rear wing.

Just got AMS2, i think i am in love.

Been much of an AC and ACC fanboy (and a little LMU) but after purchasing AMS2, a few DLC and using a few skin packs it has been like cocaine the last few days. Been having such a blast.
late 90's, early 2000's heaven!

Playable on Gamepad + assist?

Hey all,

I saw those new GT endurance DLC's and i wondered if i should get AMS2 as i love the Vipers and Vettes etc from that era.

But are these good to drive on a controller with assists? (Only abs and TC)

I enjoy ACC, AC and LMU on the pad, but know little of how well AMS plays on it.

SP or SP2 for newby

Hey all,

First time looking at this style of games and have zero experience. Seeing it has a big sale now i think it is time to jump in.

Mainly looking to build planes, not land or water based vehicles.

Which would be the better, more newby friendly game, first or second.

Also have a relatively modest system (10400f and 3060)

Also planning to pick up Juno for space atuff

F100 flightmodel.

Ok, i know we are all in the hype bubble atm. But while the thing looks great, sounds fine etc.

The takeoff roll and that slow initial acceleration is amazing, tons on awesome skins etc etc. however....

The flightmodel to me felt like a massive letdown. From the first rotation (with curves set and damper on) it just feels awefully light and just weird.

I genuinely hardly dare to look down to flip a switch as it may just decide to bank or pitch because it had a tiny input, hardly any sense of any form of aerodynamic stability/weight.

The general behavior feels fine, with a dutchroll etc. But that initial reaction to pich and roll commands make it feel like a paper plane, very little weight to it.

I know it has been called up to HB levels, but really that FM is not even remotely close to what the HB jets have, setting asside the obviously higher weight of those jets.

And she really feels a bit light and too sporty overall.

Hope she gets a bit more of a weighted feel to her at some point.

Besides that she is a nice jet for sure.

Hey all.
If possible i would love some feedback on my plan that i have been doing for around 6 months now.
I work out 4-5 days a week, mostly 5, following a 2 day on, 1 day off system. The results are there, so i am happy with that.

Problem is, most days do take around 1hr, with proper rest between sets and i would look to reduce that to 30-40 minutes.

My issue is that i find many excersizes fun, and have trouble deciding what to cut.
And as you see, i use more weights than i honestly would like.

Any feedback or further questions i look forward to.

Also, these are all 3 sets each.
