I live in Clewiston, but there isn’t a group for my area and this is the closest one. Could anyone PLEASE help me with food? I don’t need cash… just food. I’m 24yo female on my own completely. My dad died in October, my grandparents died in 2023. My mom left when I was 6 & no siblings. So I’m 100% alone. I’m working every single day and taking every overtime hour I’m offered but the motel I’m living in eats up every damn penny. I hadn’t eaten since Saturday and I’m just so hungry 🥺 please?? I’m so fucking embarrassed to even have to do this ; but I’d rather ask then steal

My dad raised me not to steal. But what do you do as a 24yo female when working 50 hours a week isn’t cutting it? Literally every cent I make I pour back into the place I’m staying. I have nothing , absolutely nothing to eat or drink. The hunger is driving me insane. Food banks are always closed by the time I’m off work. My only option is to steal & I don’t want to do that 😭

So I’m a broke ass girl working my ass off paying for the motel room I live in, and can’t afford anything. I had $40 left from my check and paying my rent.

I decide I’m going to splurge on myself and get some food I’d enjoy.

So, I spend the last $34 something I have to my name and guess what fkn DoorDash does? THEY cancel my fkn order after I place it. Saying “technical difficulties”. Now I won’t be able to eat. And I’m already starving.
