Hi all.

I'm trying to help a friend who wants to give his wife a custom wax seal stamp for their anniversary. I read a few solutions to stop the wax sticking but none seem to work. We're not after a solution that requires freezing or spraying the stamp prior as that doesn't make a nice gift. Has anyone done that and can advise on process/material?

Hi all

Two quick questions for those that have been blessed with understanding multiboard.

1. Is there an orientation required on the tiles? I know the planner will structure them in a certain way but is that just the way the planner does it or does a certain side need to be up. I remember seeing a youtube video once where the person said there was a way by the number of thread gaps, but I haven't seen anything else mentioned anywhere.

2. Is there a side of the tile that needs to face towards you or the wall. They look the same to me but the threads may influence things. And how would I determine which way is the right one?

Hi all

In the last few exports I've noticed that when an Axle event starts, the battery starts discharging. After a short while (around 15min), it will start charging again only to discharge again a short while after. I was thinking maybe predbat was attempting to charge up to be able to discharge more but it doesn't even get to my minimum SOC (15%) so if it is doing that it is managing it badly. The chart below shows it happening at the last event that was from 6 to 7.

In predbat I found these logs. Ignore the yellow highlight (from my search) but the bold area talks to charging but not sure why.

Does anyone have some insight for me?

Hi all

Another question from a noob. I want to make multiple sized parts built from the timeline, that I can keep for future use/changes. I don't want to just export the STL/3MF. If I copy a body, it doesn't give its history that I can adjust. How would I make a copy of something as another component, keeping its entire history so I can go back and make adjustments? I did consider saving as a new project to do this but I see that is a paid plan and I'm on the free personal one :(.

Hi all

Apologies for the noob question. I have a hybrid assembly and I want to create a new component, starting from a copy of an existing body. The problem is that if I create a new component, it nests it under the component where the body is currently. In the image of my browser, I am trying to use "Base (1)" as that starting body and want it as a component under "Veg Basket". But it will put it under "Base_large". I also cannot move it after. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all

I've got my first abrasive filament (asa-gf) and was wondering on best/easiest way to feed it into the toolhead. I have the p2s with ams and an ams-ht. I know the filament can wear away the ams gears and shouldn't use them, but don't know best way to actually feed it . For tpu I've used a top feeder direct into the toolhead and not sure if I should be doing that or just using the bypass in the ams-ht through the back filament inputs.

Any help appreciated.

Hi all.

Need some help finding a rear mounted bike rack for the Sealion 7 (in the UK). I don't have a tow bar. I went to Halfords but they were useless and gave me the answer of "we don't know". So I'm hoping someone here has got one and can recommend a make/model? Even if you don't live in the UK, please let me know what works for you as there might be comparable models here.

Hi all

I've designed a part and I wanted to make a change. However, on doing anything to the sketch, part of my body disappears (the ones where I was making surface changes). I can understand if I was changing something that was directly affecting it but as you can see in the included video, I can make a random line far away from the sketches used to make the model and it still causes this. Can anyone explain (in 2 year old terms) what is causing this? I am still a noob so It's probably because I've mucked up somewhere. But I don't even know where to start looking to learn how to avoid this in the future.

Hi all.

I've been only using PLA, PETG and TPU. I want to start venturing in to some stronger more resilient filaments. But there is so much choice it's overwhelming. I was originally thinking of ASA but then I watched a youtube video of different filaments and now I'm so confused. What about ASA-GF or ASA-CF or PETG-GF or Nylon or PC-CF or TPU-GF..... AAARRRRRGGGGG!!!!

So, turning to the community. What do you think I should get? Ultimately I don't need to throw it in to the sun or tow a 10ton block. But do want something that can withstand the future project where I may need a fixture taking some abuse. And obviously the cheaper the better but don't want to just go for the cheapest because of that. I would prefer something that prints easier and is a better quality (e.g. does Nylon warp less than ASA, do I need to buy a dedicated build plate?, etc).

I have a P2S so have an enclosure. Also have an AMS-HT for drying. Build plate wise I have the standard Bambu PEI and the BiQu Glacier. I have hardened steel nozzles (bambu and Juupine, standard and high flow).

Edit: I have 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8mm nozzles. With the 0.4 and 0.6 being high flow, if that matters for anything

Hi all.

Every night predbat will dump and charge my battery a few times. I understand that is just the system doing it to save money but I worry that it is using a lot of battery cycles for minimal gain. Using a cycle to offset peak usage of approx. 30p is a lot more valuable than the little I make from the off peak charge (7p) to export rate (12p).

I haven't done the maths but my battery only has a cycle life of 4k (FOXESS EP11) so worry I'll need to replace it before it's actually paid for itself.

Is there a way to stop that happening? Or has someone done the maths and it's worthwhile?

Hi all. Please help an idiot.

I saw when going in to Jellyseerr that there is an update available (version saying out of date and linking through to the seer release v3.2. My stack file has ":latest" on and I've tried to download and redeploy, but it doesn't update the image. I've tried to remove the container and image and redeploy but the same image comes up. I've tried asking AI (telling me to use different image links) but I haven't been successful there either. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi all.

Sorry, n00b here but I'm trying to learn. I've set up multiple parameters for a component. When trying to extrude, I can't select any of the parameters as the distance. I just get the red line underneath error. I've tried searching online but can't find a resolution. They both are in mm units. I've tried a combination of upper and lower case letters just in case. Can someone please let me know where I'm going wrong?

Hi all.

I bought the BIQU CryoGrip Glacier plate. Where the hell do I put the qr code sticker so the P2S recognises it as a smooth plate. I've tried the spot on the plate it tells you to. I've tried lining it up with where it is located on my bambu lab textured plate. I tried downloading new codes online and printed on a sticker. All still give the unrecognised plate error. Where do I put it?
