Trimmer recommendations?
I have a Craftsman WC210 trimmer that I’ve used for the past 10+ years. The engine still runs great, but my god is the line feed bump head a pain. It takes me just as long to trim as it does to push mow. String gets tangled inside the head and doesn’t feed through. It’s a frustrating struggle of starting and stopping to fix the line and a bigger struggle not to chuck the thing across the yard.
I’ve reached the point of needing to upgrade to keep my sanity after trying everything to fix the “easy feed” bump head issues except for outright replacing the head.
What recommendations do you all suggest? I haven’t used a battery trimmer before but I’m open minded. Main priority is a dependable trimmer with a bump head that actually works.
TLDR: Craftsman trimmer is a POS and needs to be replaced. Easy line feed appreciated. No preference between gas mix and battery. I just want a good trimmer that’ll last 10+ years and not give me a headache with each use.
New 52 Wonder Woman?
Can someone help confirm that I got the wrong figure? Or explain what I'm missing if it's not wrong?
I ordered from Best Buy the 80s Wonder Woman (#61) but what was delivered today isn't what I expected. The box says 80s, but this is New 52 right?
Storage
How do you all store the extra bits and pieces for your figures?
Knightfall Bats Posing
I decided to go for the homage to Batman #493 this afternoon when I was messing around with my Mafex Batman. Obviously, it's not a true representation, but I'm still learning and having fun.
In lieu of the TPB, I've been able to find some of the issues leading up to the beginning of the Knightfall saga at my LCS. The build-up and development of Batman being overworked, stressed out, and exhausted has been great. It's interesting to see him actually be vulnerable in some capacity and make things much more compelling than when he's written as Bat God.
Bane is set up as That Guy and it's crazy how underutilized he's been since this run. Outside of Arkham Origins, I can't remember him being so formidable in both intellect and strength. Not only is he spying and casing out Batman without Bats knowing, but going after weaker foes to further Bruce's exhaustion. He manhandled Croc easily and then uses The Riddler like a pawn by forcing venom on him. No chill my guy.
My current play through is a fem corp V running sandevistan and katana with Yorinobu's knife for good measure. I'm in the early 40s level wise with my blade tree maxed out and most other points and skills in Body and Tech. I'm balking at finishing my Body and Tech skill trees because while the perks sound interesting, they don't sound fun. If that makes sense.
I hit a lull as I had fallen into the same combat routine until I grabbed the militech sandevistan on a gig recently. Now, I'm finding enjoyment by slowing time and headshotting with Nobu's knife until I need to draw the katana out, switch on Optic Camo, and deal with remaining hangers on. All in all, feel OP AF out in the streets with hardly any concern about health or armor. For story reference, I'm waiting to meet Panam and gearing up for the parade with Goro.
I've yet to install any type of cyberware in the arms and was considering switching to mantis blades or a projectile system. Gorilla arms have also caught my eye.
Anyway. As the title says, what is the most fun pairing with blades? Are there any benefits to mantis over katana?
As an aside, it's amazing me how different the game feels going from a silence pistol netrunner to a time altering swordsman.
I finished The Brave and The Bold: Batman and Wonder Woman, where they team up to solve a supposed murder mystery in Tir Na Nog. Not a perfect book or masterpiece, but definitely an instant favorite for me personally with the Gaelic mythology backdrop.
Anyway. The last panel at the end says "End of Book 1," but I don't see where this story was every continued. Considering this was released 8 years ago, is this still planned or left as is?
