Recommendation for maternity & newborn photos

Hi all, I’m currently 18wks and I think I should start trying to find a photographer for our maternity photos and newborn photos. Does anyone have recommendations in this area? Also let me know when you had your maternity pics done… this is my first so not sure when the best time is?

Thank you everyone!

SureFeed microchip feeder randomly stopped opening for cat. Works for 1-2 days after factor reset & retrain and then stops working again.

This is super super frustrating. I believe I’ve had this feeder for about 2yrs and it has suddenly stopped opening for the registered cat. I have factory reset it, retrained it to the cat which works perfectly each time, and it opens for her for 1-2 days after reset and retrain and then completely stops working again.

The green light doesn’t turn on, she can practically lay inside the damn thing and it doesn’t open. I have to manually open it to let her eat and then she’s waking me up at 2-4am pissed because she can’t get to the rest of her food.

Is there a solution or should I trash this thing and move to a different brand? I have always only used Duracell batteries and just replaced them about a month ago so I don’t believe it’s a power or motor issue. It works perfectly fine when I manually open it, no weird noises or anything

When can baby hear your voice in the womb?

I’m only asking here to see y’all’s opinions. I’m 15 weeks today and my pregnancy apps say baby’s hearing is developing now and that she can likely hear my stomach gurgles, heartbeat and my voice when I’m talking, and that she may even start to hear outside sounds.

I thought this happened later so was googling and everything I found googling says they don’t hear your voice until 23ish weeks and outside sounds even later.

Anyone know which is true? 😂

App or website that can help generate a graphgan pattern? First time making one

Does anyone know of a website or app I can upload a photo to that will make the pattern/graph for me?

I am a pattern follower, not a creator, and I have no idea where to start as I’ve never done a graphgan before but want to make a Scooby Doo blanket for my baby’s nursery.

I found a post a few years old that suggested an app called Wooltasia but it doesn’t seem to exist anymore, at least not in the Apple App Store

FTM, what does baby’s first movements feel like?

I’m 14 weeks today so I know I’m probably too early but wondering what the first movements feel like, if someone can explain.

All day today I have been getting little flutters, sort of like a muscle spasm but much softer and very sporadic. They’re in my lower abdomen about where baby is sitting based on Doppler placement when we heard heartbeat.

I’m assuming I am too early to be feeling baby but just thought I’d ask :) first pregnancy for me

Middle name help

My husband and I cannot seem to find or agree on a decent middle name for our daughter. This is both of our first.

First name is Elise. We don’t like any of the typical girl middle names with it i.e. Nicole, Lynn, Marie, etc.

Disclaimer: we do not want a tragic name, lol.

My top choice is Lorraine, husbands top choice is Sophia. We aren’t crazy about the others’ top choices so decided to ask the hive mind.

Middle name help?

I’m 14 weeks with a baby girl and my husband and I know we for sure want to name her Elise, but we can’t seem to come up with or agree on a middle name.

Just looking for some suggestions on nice middle names that go well with the name. I am not a big fan of the “typical” middle names I.e Marie, Lynn, Nicole, etc.

Best baby stores near Lexington?

What the title says - looking for best places to shop for baby supplies, not just clothes and toys but strollers, cribs, changing tables, etc in and around Lexington. I have been to the carters but they’re pretty exclusively clothes and we are wanting to start looking into the bigger ticket items.

Thanks in advance!

Just for fun: boy or girl? 12wk+2

Hi all! I am reposting because I was told I didn’t post a good nub photo last time. This was a boutique scan and I left with 74 photos and videos, but still very new to nub theory so I guess I’m bad at picking out the nub!

Hoping maybe a video will help? Also picked some different stills.

This is just for fun, as I did SneakPeek at 8weeks and have my NIPT results which matched my SneakPeek. So we are confident on gender, just want to see what everyone thinks!

Hi y’all! Just for fun - boy or girl??

I did a sneak peek at 8 weeks and got my NIPT results back already so I am pretty confident on gender (NIPT matched SneakPeek!) but I just found out about nub theory and thought it would be fun to see what y’all think! Boy or girl? 12wk+2 :) last pic is between the legs

Fogging inside AND outside of windshield constantly - help??

I feel like a moron posting this right now but I’m in central KY where it’s hot af and also 100% humidity right now, and I work early mornings (4a-afternoon) out of my car. My windshield is CONSTANTLY fogged and I cannot see and feel powerless to fix it. It is fogging both inside and outside of the windshield at the same time. If I turn the AC on, the outside fog gets worse but inside fog gets better. If I turn AC off and roll windows down they are both just fogged. If I put the heat on the inside fog gets worse while outside improves.

What the hell do I do here? Everything talks about leveling the temp of the windshield, but I have sat with my windows down for 25min and the fog never gets any better. Nothing I’m doing seems to help at all.

OBGYN recommendations

Hi all, I’ve been living in Lex for about a year and recently found out I’m pregnant. I’m looking for good OB recommendations that I can stick with throughout my pregnancy and delivery.

Bonus if you know whether they accept BCBS anthem insurance.

Thanks!
