Comprar casa o departamento

Advice on how I can get 4/4

Hi everyone, hope all is well

Was looking to see if anyone had some good advice on how I could pass my last 2 exams.

For some background, I passed FAR studying 7 weeks and passed REG in 5 weeks. I don’t wanna say this was easy, but I wasn’t working at all so I was able to hangout with friends and do other activities. I would typically only focus really hard on the exam 2 weeks out. I passed pretty comfortably (85+ scores)

I now have to complete my discipline (tcp) and AUD. I paid for a nts for TCP because I initially was gonna take it this July but I rescheduled for October because I felt a little burnt out and felt like I was on a short deadline.

I have now been able to rest and I feel ready to start studying again. I started my public accounting job which makes preparing for these exams significantly more difficult now.

I’m debating whether to try AUD on a 7 week deadline right now and TCP on a 5 1/2 week deadline right after.

The other option would be starting TCP right now and taking it 1st day of October than moving onto AUD.

I accepted that I won’t really have a social life moving forward but any advice would be appreciated!

Preparing for TCP - Study Advice

Hi all,

I’m starting to study for TCP right now. Passed Far and waiting for my REG results. I am going to take TCP regardless of REG results so I can take it on the discipline window. I’m pretty optimistic I passed REG

How does this study plan sound? I’m thinking of doing 3 hours on average for 35 days. For Far and Reg I had a more aggressive approach where I would pass through the material at a normal pace and study really hard at the last 2 weeks.

I thought that approach was really effective but this is the first exam where I’m gonna be working as well so I can’t study 5/6 hours a day anymore.

Any advice regarding TCP would be appreciated!

Can you use credit card for student loans?

Basically my balance is about 5k. Planning on paying it off over the next 3 months. I wanted to put the payment on a credit card so I could get a bonus on the credit card. Would this work for federal loans ?

Just got out of reg 6/13

Wanting to see if anyone has had a similar experience

My se scores prior was 71 and 74

MCQ honestly pretty easy and straight forward. Basic questions and the pretty easy overall. I thought I scored good here.

Sims on the other hand, these were a beast. I’ve taken and passed Far before and I thought these sims were on another level.

I completely botched a sim because I didn’t really understand what they were asking for, the rest I felt like I understood the concepts and got a good amount of points but it was so information overload I’m sure I made a ton of errors.

Anyone have a similar experience?

Need advice for Reg - SE scores vs actual

Took SE1 today, I’m currently scheduled for Reg on Saturday.

I got a 71 on my Simulated Exam which I would say is a decent score. I see a big drop off in R4-R6. I plan on reviewing these extensively next 2 days and taking my second exam.

Do I have a good chance at passing? Im considering rescheduling for next week because if I fail I’ll have to restart studying some parts due to the tax changes on the exam starting on July

QBI in Reg - how much should you know?

The sims are very tricky. Should I just move on? I read on the sub that many said it’s not an important topic.

Looking for a fun destination in June

22M, based out of the east coast of United States. I start a new job in July so I wanted to plan a vacation beforehand.

Flights to Europe are outrageous and it’s sort of last minute for that. I’m considering going to a few national parks in the US with 2 of my friends. I also have not been to the West coast of the US before so that’s something to consider.

I am also open to solo traveling. I would also be very open to visiting lesser known destinations. I’m considering a 7-10 day trip and my budget is around $1500-$2000.

Any recommendations would be helpful.

Need 150 for start date.

Initially applied for CPA exam with less than 150 credits. I have some transfer credit discrepancies but from my understanding the CPA board counts credits based off where the university credits were earned and not transferred.

I tallied up my credits from several different universities and was at 143. I just obtained the last 7 credits recently to be at 150. Will recruiting/hr give me a hard time with me proving I have 150 credits?
