​Hey everyone,

​I recently picked up a refurbished Galaxy S25 for 44k. I do a lot of content creation—especially product shots—and for still photography, this phone is absolutely amazing. The low-light performance and color grading out of both the front and back cameras are stellar for my workflow.

​However, when it comes to video, it’s really letting me down. Whenever I zoom in while recording, it gets noticeably pixelated, and the front camera video quality just feels incredibly average.

​Are there specific camera settings I'm missing to fix this? Any other S25 users experiencing the same thing, or am I just doing it wrong? I rely heavily on good video for my content, so I'm seriously debating whether I should just exchange it for an iPhone 15.

​I’m really curious about the real-world longevity of older phone cameras for content stuff. It feels like a lot of the newer models heavily over-process images and end up cutting the natural photo quality anyway.

​For those of you who are still using an older phone (say, 3 to 5 years old) to shoot Reels, Shorts, or even product photography—what model are you rockin' right now?

​Specifically wondering:

​How are the front and back cameras holding up for 4K video and video calling?

​Does it still deliver sharp, natural quality when uploading directly to Instagram?

I am a BE grad worked in pvt companies and currently employed on a contractual post in TN govt. For the past eight years, I have been preparing for group and technical exams, yet I haven’t cracked anything. Still, I cannot let go of my dream job.

In pursuing this goal, I’ve sacrificed many opportunities to work abroad or in other states opportunities. Recently, I relocated to another town in search of better job, but the journey continues to be challenging. I often wonder how others manage to stay motivated through such struggles.
